Gold Digger

Dorian reached out where his classmate was sitting. He crossed his legs as he smirked at the expression on Alex's face.

"Is this Dorian?" Alex asked again, wondering if his friend had already changed. Alex couldn't believe he had turned out like this.

"Or maybe he is just fake?" Alex wondered.

Alex decided not to bring up such a topic since he believed there was no way he could lay hands on such a type of cloth. Alex believed he borrowed it to show off and that is what people do nowadays.

"So how is your wife? I heard you married months ago?" Alex requested as Dorian chuckled while sipping from the drink placed on the table.

"I don't have a wife anymore." Dorian answered him without remorse, looking at the street filled with moving cars.

Alex joined him to look at the street alongside him.

"I guess she left you because of your miserable life!" Alex waited for a response from Dorian.

Dorian realized how ignorant Alex was about him. His fingers moved from left to right on the table as he placed his crossed leg down.

Looking back at Alex, he corrected his point of view. "She didn't leave me, I divorced her!" Dorian replied to him leaving Alex in shock.

"Why would you? I heard you were alive thanks to her. She is the one who feeds you and clothes you and gives you everything you need. "Why should you divorce her?" Alex said everything just to conclude with one question.

"Even though I divorced her already, I have no right to speak about her this way." He stated his standard. Alex felt embarrassed by what he had said.

"Besides, your restaurant looks so good." Dorian complimented him looking around the restaurant.

"I know, right?" Alex replied.

Dorian looked at some of the girls that were in the restaurant. Most of them were looking at him. Some were squealing so loudly, and they made it so obvious.

Dorian felt pleased. All his life he thought he was an ugly freak but all he needed was money to show how handsome he was.

"The girls must be tripping for you but if they figure out who you are I bet they will lose interest immediately." Alex stated when he also noticed the same thing.

"Just like the way the girl who admires you loses interest in you immediately after she figures out who you are." Dorian teased and that made Alex angry.

"She's a gold digger! I'm financially okay, she is just looking for someone rich." Alex defended himself.

"You call this wealth? If I were the girl, I would have said the same thing." Dorian kept on teasing him. "I would love to order something to eat and drink." Dorian changed the topic before Alex could reply.

Alex waved at one of the waiters as she walked towards where they were both sitting. Dorian gave her the book as he had already ticked off what he wanted to eat.

"That is the most expensive food and drink in our restaurant here! Are you sure you can eat it?" Alex was scared Dorian might not want to pay because they are classmates.

"I can't eat such food. I bought it because it was expensive!" Dorian replied to him.

"I'm sure you are going to pay for that right?" Alex asked just to clear his thoughts. The waiter approached him with food.

She was about to drop the tray on the table, when the cup filled with drink fell down from the tray shattering into pieces alerting almost everyone in the room.

The drink spilled onto Dorian's cloth closing his eyes in disappointment while Alex smirked thinking he had ruined someone else's cloth.

"How could you spill the drink on his cloth?" Some girls were murmuring as they fit angry at the action of the waitress.

"I'm so sorry, it wasn't my intention." The waitress went down on her knees apologizing. She tried to use her handkerchief to clean his dress but Dorian didn't stop her.

A lot of girls in the restaurant got jealous immediately and wished it hadn't happened to them.

"I know you must want to touch me so badly and now that you are done you can go now." Dorian told the waiter who spilled the drink on her and acted as if it was a mis.

Dorian saw her as she used her hand to spill the drink intentionally.

 "I'm so sorry." She begged.

"Don't worry! I'm giving to punish her." Alex assured Dorian as she asked the waitress to let them be. The waitress walked away feeling like a winner with the intention of showing off her other colleagues.

"The service you render here is really bad! You can't judge a book by its cover. The design and building look nice but the service is bad." Dorian made his complaint, making Alex roll his eyes.

"Can you work here then maybe you will offer the proper services?" Alex made an offer to him and that made Dorian chuckle.

Dorian is still surprised that Alex can't believe he is now rich. Even with all the gestures.

"Moving all that aside, what did you plan on seeing me for?" Alex asked him to change the entire topic.

Dorian bit on his food slowly while Alex crossed his arm in frustration waiting for his response.

"I'm sorry I don't want my food to get cold." Dorian explained the reason for his actions while Alex just gritted his teeth in anger waiting for him to finish his food.

He dropped his knife and everything was done immediately.

"Yeah, I would love to buy a company." Dorian finally told him the reason as Alex burst into laughter alerting most people in the room.

"You came all the way here just to make this joke?" Alex asked immediately. He stopped laughing. Dorian felt it was normal for him not to believe...

"Do you even know how much a company costs? Do you think it is a piece of cake?" Alex has to remind him.

"I will be leaving now since you wasted my time sitting down with you here." He wavered in anger almost standing up but before he could Dorian stopped him.

"Do you think I will be sitting down here wasting my time talking to you?" Dorian asked him.

"I'm here for business and I'm sure you can help me with it." Dorian informed him as Alex sat down back and listened to everything he had to say.

"I need a company and I have the money to buy it." Dorian said again.

"Wait, what did I just hear?" Thiago, one of their classmates, noticed their presence. Thiago is an awfully close friend of Alex, and he was among the people that bullied Dorian when they were at school.

"Alex, did he just say he wanted to buy a company?" Thiago asked as he waited for the reply from Alex...

"Yes, you heard him right. Isn't it funny?" Alex asked as Thiago chuckled.

"Alex, can you believe I saw the latest Tesla at the front of your restaurant?" Thiago suggested Alex change the topic, not knowing the car belonged to Dorian.

Dorian wondered what their reaction would be if they knew the car was his.
