Chapter 14

A bright morning didn't coax a beautiful woman from her slumber; she looked comfortable lying in her soft bed, with the blanket almost up to her chest. The sunlight streaming through the window crevices caused her beautiful eyes to flutter. The sun's rays now fully met her captivating gaze as a man, none other than Gibson, pulled back the curtains wide open.

"Close the curtains," she said, turning away to avoid the sunlight.

Gibson sighed and walked closer to Calista, then pulled the blanket, hoping she'd wake up soon.

"Wake up, it's already noon," Gibson informed her.

"I'm still sleepy," Calista said, pulling the blanket back that Gibson had uncovered.

Gibson shook his head and sat on the edge of the bed, watching Calista with her eyes still closed.

Even in her sleep, Calista looked incredibly beautiful, making Gibson curl his lips upwards. Somehow, he found himself entangled with a beautiful and wealthy woman like Calista, as if it were all a dream.
