Chapter 33

Richard propped himself up on the table, gazing at Gibson through the reflection in the mirror. "I can't let him win."

Opening his closet, Richard quickly changed into his finest attire, including a piece from a fairly famous brand. He also styled his hair differently than usual, feeling more ambitious. He mentally reinforced himself, determined not to be outdone by Gibson, even though his longtime rival had become wealthy.

He roughly splashed his face, looking disheveled due to recent sleepless nights pondering all the troubles he'd faced. But Richard refused to appear unkempt. He readied himself with confidence and headed to the café for the meeting with Gibson.

Upon arrival, Gibson and Richard crossed paths in the underground parking lot. They walked together as if they were ordinary friends. Gibson surveyed the surroundings; everyone involved in his revenge plan against Richard was ready in their respective positions.
