The police car was speeding along amidst the glittering lights of the street. They were not on patrol, but on their way to a house on Blue Hill Street, a small neighborhood in the middle of the city.

They stopped the car in front of a small house there. Even though it was ten o'clock at night, the house lights were still on. The two policemen who had previously checked James's house got out of the car.
