Chapter 27 : Kidnapped

Mark seemed hesitant about Benjamin and Ethan's invitation. Several times he took his eyes off the two policemen. The boy was actually still deeply traumatized by the massacre in front of him half a year ago.

Exactly a week before he was adopted by his parents, he traveled with his friends and the orphanage officials. As they stopped for a meal, Mark was suddenly kidnapped by a man in a black mask--Ryo Krugger, and he was taken hostage. Three orphanage caretakers along with seven police officers were mobilized to search for him, while the other children were left with a caretaker of another orphanage.

By the time they were found, Ryo Krugger and a man in a white mask--Zen, who carried a scythe--were waiting for the seven. Ryo pulled out a short shotgun and a dagger, and pointed them at the police and the three caretakers of the orphanage.
