“Grandma, I wanted to talk to you,” Mona said timidly.

“Go ahead.”

“I am sorry for what happened between Eisha, you and I. I know I came off as disrespectful and I want to apologise for that. I didn't mean to speak to you in that manner,” Mona apologised.

“It is okay, child. I understand you. Eisha went over the line and I stood with her without listening to your side of the story. Your words were actually an eye opener for me,” The woman said.

“Does that mean you are not upset with me anymore?” Mona asked, eyes twinkling with hope.

“I was never uoset with you. Come here, sit with me,” she patted the space beside her and Mona plunged herself on the couch.

“You should try to get along with Eisha too. She is a very nice person. I thought you two would be best of friends,” She said and Mona almost laughed.

“Best of friends? Come on, grandma. You don't seriously believe that. She hates my guts and believes I am here to replace her, which is not true,” Mona answered.
