Trouble

Eisha clutched to the plate tightly as she walked into the scene happening in the kitchen.

Her Daniel, the man she'd loved for almost all her life, was in the kitchen, kissing a woman he'd known for barely one month.

She stomped past them to the sink and dropped the plate noisily, causing them to separate before leaving the kitchen.

Daniel and Mona stared at her retreating figure.

“Just to be sure I heard it right, did you say you want me?” He asked and she chuckled.

“Why did you kiss me if you weren't sure of what you heard?”

“Because I thought you'd push me off if you didn't mean it but you didn't. I never imagined you would want me. I asusmed your type were princes and noblemen,” he said breathlessly.

“They were but now I only have one type, you. Which means I don't want you frolicking with other women because you believe you're a friend in need.”

The warning sent him wheezing.

“You are hilarious, Mona. Who said o frolick with women?”

“Eisha can attest to that,” Mona pointed.
