The Silver Crescent Clan headquarters was different than its usual imposing tranquility. The iron gates stood open, flanked by flashing red-and-blue lights from police cruisers. Alfred felt a knot tighten in his stomach as he approached, his eyes scanning the scene. Officers moved purposefully, their postures tense. The gravity of the situation was heavy.

“Hold it right there,” barked a uniformed officer as Alfred neared the yellow tape that blocked off the area. “I’m a member of the clan,” Alfred said firmly, his voice steady but low.

The officer seemed unimpressed, stepping forward as if to block him. Before the situation could escalate, a commanding voice cut through the air. “Let him through,” he said.

Alfred turned to see Detective Harper, a senior investigator and a longstanding clan member, walk toward them. Harper’s presence was enough to quell any resistance. With a curt nod from the detective, the officers stepped aside.

“Alfred. You’re not going to like what you see," Harpe

Lenox stood at the edge of the warehouse, his sharp eyes scanning the crates stacked neatly before him. He stroked the smooth, shiny surface of an assault rifle which he just picked up. The object was like a piece of art and a weapon. Testing its weight, he held it to shoulder level, peered down the barrel, and nodded, with a happy grin."Good work, Gerald. The quality is exceptional," Lenox said, as he dropped the rifle, and put it back into the crate.Gerald, laughed upon receiving the praise. “Only the best, sir. They had led him on through unfamiliar routes and onto the pathways that led to the outskirts of the city. The destination was a small hotel in a secluded corner of the city and that did not please him."Sir, do you seriously want me to keep going, we are well out of the city, this is unfamiliar territory," the bodyguard inquired. Olivia who was in the back seat, next to Gerald, leaned across and whispered in his ear while her hand began to caress his inner thigh. “Discretion is key, isn’t it, Gerald? Clara and I wouldn't just let you have us in any random hotel after all," she said in a seductive manner.Gerald chuckled as he waved a dismissive hand. “You worry too much.
