With a fierce cry, Drake used his last energy to raise the beast right up into the air by turning off the gravity around the beast. Then, he took out his two daggers and waited below.

When the beast came crashing down, it landed on the two daggers, screaming in pain. Drake noticed that he had dealt a significant blow, but the daggers didn't penetrate deep enough.

He needed something to go deeper, and then he saw John standing there with his sword. "John, hand over your sword!" Drake shouted.

John didn't hesitate for a moment, he quickly handed over his sword, knowing that Drake was their only way to win the beast. Drake quickly approached the beast, which was still weak from the previous attack.

With a swift and deadly motion, Drake was ready to plunge the sword into the beast's heart. But just as he was about to deliver the final blow, flames came from nowhere and burned the beast to death.

The team turned to see who had intervened, and their eyes fell on Rizzo and his team, who were approaching them with smug grins on their faces.

"Looks like you guys needed a little help," Rizzo sneered, his eyes gleaming with malice.

Drake's eyes narrowed as he gazed at Rizzo. “Why did you do that?” he asked, nearly out of breath due to his depleted ability cells.

“The rules were clear. The last team to deal a finishing blow gets the crystal, no hard feelings.” Rizzo shrugged as he approached the beast, cut into it to remove its crystal.

When he took it out, Rylan noticed that the advance tier looked a little bit bigger and clearer than intermediate crystals.

After taking out the advanced tier crystal, Rizzo didn't seem satisfied. He took a step closer to Drake and his team, a sneer on his face.

"I don't think that's enough," Rizzo said, his eyes gleaming with greed. "I want all the crystals you've collected. Hand them over."

Drexel, one of Rizzo's team members, spoke up. "Rizzo, I think that's enough. We've already taken the advanced tier crystal."

Rizzo turned to Drexel, his face twisted in anger. "Shut up, Drexel. I'm the one in charge here."

Drake, who was still struggling to stand, looked up at Rizzo with a fierce determination in his eyes. "Over my dead body," he said, his voice weak but resolute.

John stood behind Drake, his eyes fixed on Rizzo with a fierce glare. Rylan, who was carrying the crystals, stood beside Drake, his eyes flashing with anger.

Rizzo looked at the three of them, a sneer on his face. "You're an odd-looking team, aren't you?" he said. "A level zero, a level one, and a level seven who's currently drained. You're no match for us."

Rizzo turned to his team, gesturing to Drexel. "We have a level three body hardening ability user right here," he said. "And Jerry, by my side, is a level four wind user. And as for me, I'm a level six fire user. You're no match for us, so quit and hand over the crystals."

Drake's eyes flashed with anger, and he took a step forward, his fists clenched. "Never," he said, his voice firm. "We're not going to back down from a fight. Let's do this."

The two teams faced off, their eyes locked in a fierce stare.

“Count me out of this,” Drexel said as he stepped back.

“Whatever we don't need your help anyway.” Rizzo responded in anger.

As the two teams started fighting, the wind ability user quickly dealt with John by using a tornado to lift far up in the sky, and when John landed down, he couldn't move another muscle.

Drake struggled to float Rizzo in the air, but he could only float the stones around Rizzo, because that was all his remaining ability cells could do.

Rizzo noticed this and sent out a huge fireball that sent Drake flying, before he crashed into a nearby tree, unable to move.

“The stubborn fly down, let me deal with the little fry.” Rizzo said to himself as he turned around to face Rylan, but Rylan was nowhere to be found.

He saw the bushes still shaking in the direction that Rylan headed to.

“Let's go after him,” Rizzo instructed Jerry.

As they went after Rylan, Drexel decided to follow, prepared to step in if Rizzo tried to bring serious harm on Rylan.

Meanwhile Rylan was currently running to any direction his mind was telling him. He didn't know if he was making the right decision or not, but he just wanted to get away from Rizzo for now, hoping he won't come after him.

Suddenly, Rylan burst into an open area and his eyes landed on something which sent chills to his body.

It was the entrance of a dungeon. Rylan realized that he was already too close to the dungeon, closer than the hundred meters distance which they were asked to keep away from the dungeons.

When Rylan tried to turn back, he saw Rizzo and Jerry standing there.

“Well well well… it is the end of the road for you.” Rizzo said with an evil tone.

“Look, Rizzo, I have no problems with you, just take the crystals and let me go.” Rylan said, throwing all the crystals on the ground.

Just then, the dungeon keeper's roar could be heard from down below, and it was approaching.

Rizzo looked at the crystals, then he looked at Rylan. He knew he needed to take those crystals and get out of there before the dungeon keeper got them, so he quickly came up with a plan.

Rylan saw the look in Rizzo's eyes, and feared what he was about to do. “ No… no.. don't do this Rizzo, please.” he pleaded.

However, Rizzo shook his head, “I am sorry Rylan, you will serve as a distraction, while I get away.”

Rizzo fired out a fire ball at an incredible speed. Rylan struggled to dodge it, but it was too late, the fireball caught up with him, sending him into the dungeon pit.

Just then Drexel arrived and witnessed the scene. “No, what have you fools done? I am firing the Flare gun,” he said, reaching for his gun, but Jerry sent a tornado which transported Drexel into the dungeon pit.

With that done, the two ran away from the dungeon.

Meanwhile in a dungeon, the dungeon keeper, a giant scorpion like creature, finally caught up with Rylan and Drexel.

“Stepped behind me Rylan, I'll protect you.” Drexel said, taking out his sword.

However, before Drexel could slash his sword, the dungeon keeper's tail plunged into his body, and he dropped to his knees before collapsing on the ground.

Rylan saw this and he was filled with rage.

“No you crazy beast, I am going to kill you.” He yelled running forward, but the beast spun around, whipping him with its tail, and Rylan was sent flying before he crashed into the wall.

Rylan remained lying there, motionless. The beast thought he was dead. It slowly approached Rylan and picked him up.

However Rylan opened his eyes, activated the claws of his gauntlets and stabbed one of the creature's eyes, while yelling out with all his might.

The creature, in pain, sent Rylan crashing to the wall again. At this point Rylan’s heart rate had increased to a dangerous level, he was finding it hard to breathe, then all of a sudden, the pendant on his neck began to glow.

Rylan wondered what was going on.

The pendent glowed even brighter as Rylan's heart rate grew worse. He felt a sharp pain in his chest.

“Arrggghhhh….” He shouted at the top of his voice, then all a sudden, he heard a female systemic voice in his head.

(Heart Rate At Maximum Level)

(Congratulations)

(Your Dracula System Activated)

(Engaging Emergency Combat Mode)

(All Current Stats Have Been Boosted)

Rylan saw this message appear in the air like a screen, and at the same time, he heard the systematic voice.

Suddenly, he felt a strange power rushing through him. All the pains and tiredness left him like it was never there before. He is heart rate returned to normal.

He found himself standing up, his eyes glowing red. He now saw the giant scorpion as a prey.

The scorpion noticed the change in the air and realized that there was danger around. At this point its eye was feeling a little bit better.

Its beastly instincts kicked in and it charged forward.

Somehow, Rylan could see all its movement in slow motion, and he could also see the beast’s core crystal from within its body.

When the beast was close enough, at an incredible speed, Rylan dashed forward and plunged his hand straight to the beast's core and took it out.

The beast stood there for a while, then it collapsed to the ground never to move again.

Just then Rylan saw the screen and heard the systematic voice again.

(Congratulations, you have killed an advanced tier scorpion beast, for the first time. Your reward has been granted.)

Just before Rylan could process the first information, another one appeared.

(Emergency Combat Mode turned off, all stats have been brought to normal)

Immediately, Rylan felt the sudden power he had, leaving him. He collapsed to the ground and passed out from exhaustion.
