Chapter Eighty-nine

As the sun rose, Charles and Norah’s cozy home stirred to life on a fresh Monday morning. The couple had spent a delightful weekend together, basking in the joys of their companionship. Now, it was a new week, and they looked forward to their responsibilities at Oscorp, the place where they dedicated their days.

Charles with his crisp suit, rushed down the stairs, the faint scent of aftershave lingering on him. He found Norah, radiant with her warm smile and neatly brushed hair, waiting in the kitchen.

“Morning, love,” Charles said, planting a quick kiss on her cheek.
