Ch 8 - The Sword of Death (Edited)

"My lord, let's get out of this place," Bella said with the priority of escaping the doom, and then she jumped high above and landed on the ground, then kept on jumping again to get out of this place.

I was high in the air with her, then I felt her medium-sized melons hit me softly on the side of my body while she was carrying me as I locked my hand around her neck properly.

Then I looked to the ground below the market area, where there were so many dead bodies.

"I have to rely on you again...' I whispered in her ears quietly.

"I'm your black robe, my lord! I only serve you!" She replied while her black robe started covering my whole body neatly to protect me.

I looked back behind her shoulder to find Humune, and I saw her manifest her amazing-looking sword. I noticed the green aura surrounding her sword.

She held the sword with her right hand, and with her agility, she slashed every enemy chasing our way.

"Wow, amazing-looking sword. Is it the sword of death?" I asked.

The sword was 3 meters long and very sturdy looking, and it could penetrate the surrounding buildings with ease.

I witnessed Humune destroy the surrounding buildings and murder everyone in her path, including innocent bystanders.

I wish she had never done that, but the murder had already happened.

"She is the sword of death. She murdered without regret on her face. Batshit crazy! Why did I accept her? Oh, hell no!" I cursed out loud because I could not bear to see her on a killing spree in cold blood.

"Death to you all! Death! Death! Death!" She screamed like a lively angel of death.

I heard her voice of happiness because she killed so many bystanders.

Some of the bystanders ran away from her, but she managed to hunt them down with a smile on her face.

"Humune! STOP!" I yelled at her because her insane behavior was not going to stop.

Then she nodded and jumped to the main entrance gate leading to the outside of the city.

"Bella, could you stop at the main entrance gate, please?" I asked Bella to stop at the main entrance.

"Yes, my lord!" She replied.

I saw four security clearance guards surrounding us with their guns pointing in our direction.

After a couple of minutes, I wondered why they didn't shoot. Probably because they knew that they wouldn't win against Humune?

"Humune! Do not kill them! Escape is our priority!" I demanded firmly because I didn't want her to go on a killing spree anymore.

"But soon they will hurt you, my dear," she replied with a wicked smile on her face.

I realized she liked to do senseless murder because she was the Sword of Death.

"Please Humune!" I demanded again not to kill, as she liked.

Bella landed near the main entrance gate behind the building, which was big enough to hide us from the security guards who were still pointing the gun at our location.

Then I got out of Bella's embrace and grabbed Humune by the collar to smack some sense into her.

"Humune..." I called her name so she could understand what I wanted from her.

"Okay, my dear! The black robe, you better keep our dreamer safe!" Humune replied and gazed at Bella, who was behind me.

"Leave it to me, big sis!" Bella replied.

"What? What is a dreamer? What did you mean? Big sis? Are both of you related by blood?" I asked.

Humune smirked without replying to my question, and then she went to the main entrance, where the security guards were located.

"Ready! NOW!!" Humune shouted.

I saw her disintegrate her sword of death, and both her hands smashed the ground below multiple times over many times!

*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!*

I heard a deafening explosion, and the ground below me trembled like an earthquake.

The explosive wave destroyed the main gate entrance.

Then Bella pulled me with the help of her black robe, covering my whole body again.

Then she jumped high above the wall to escape Paya Merah City.

"Bella! Wait! Humune!" I asked her to wait out of concern for Humune's safety while I hugged her from behind, and her black robe locked me in place behind her body.

I looked back, and I saw Humune jumping toward me at superfast speed.

"My dear! I got your revenge! Ngeehehehehe" She laughed hysterically.

"Oh no, she is a psycho," I concluded.

For a few minutes, we kept on jumping and landing to escape the hunting dog.

After I was sure that we were in a safe location, we stopped to rest.

I looked at Bella, she smiled at me like nothing had happened, and then I looked at Humune.

Her face made me shocked because I realized she could not stop her crazy and joyful expressions after murdering so many people.

"You! Psycho!!" I shouted, went to her, and then choked her neck softly, just enough to teach her.

Then I stopped immediately because I could not bring myself to hurt a beautiful woman like her.

"S-sorry my dear!" She looked into my eyes, and I saw her hypnotic green eyes.

"I should be the one to ask for forgiveness. Look at what I have done to the person who was saving me." I replied with regret.

"It's okay, my dear. Look into my eyes, okay?" Then she went ahead and kissed my mouth so suddenly.

"Thank you for forgiving me. Nice jump, both of you!" I said shyly as my face blushed because of the sudden kiss.

I scanned Humune's whole being. The truth be told, she was beautiful.

'Her green eyes are pretty! She is short and cute!' I declared silently in my heart.

"Let's walk from here, alright?" I said as I looked back in the Paya Merah city direction and noticed the bridge that had collapsed.

After several hours had passed, we were in another location that was very far away from Paya Merah city.

Bella made a bonfire to warm up the coming night in the vast green grassy field with several trees surrounding us.

I lay my body down on the green grass. Humune lifted my head and placed my head gently on her lap.

"My dear..." She called to me softly, as she looked at my face and smiled as she combed her blond hair to the side.

"Humune, you smell like a wildflower, and I like it!" I unintentionally complimented her because she smelled like a wildflower.

"I know, right? My dear!" She replied.

Then Bella lay down on my right side and hugged me tightly, and then her black robe covered my body to keep me warm.

"Bella, thank you. I feel nice and comfy," I said.

"Where are we right now?" I inquired because I wanted to know where my exact location was and where we should proceed next.

"The map indicated in my system, our current location is in Sawah territory!" Humune replied while her eyes seemed to look at the space in front of her.

"Where is that?" I asked.

"Here's your map, my lord!" Bella materialized the map from her system.

"Oh, this is the map I got from the counter lady at The Ree Inn the other day, Humune! Please show me where it is." I asked her again, so she could point her finger at the map.

"There! To the northeast of Paya Merah." She pointed a finger at the map.

"So there is Labis, my former territory," I said quietly as I failed to defend it.

"Now, my dear... Do you want to get it back?" She asked as she rubbed her hands against my face and looked at my face keenly.

"For now, I want to get stronger and be able to use the system like both of you. Is that okay?" I asked.

"My dear... To be able to use the system, you need the raw material," she replied.

"Where can I get the raw material?" I asked.

"The material is located inside Tengah territory." She replied.

"What? Tengah territory? Where is that? Oh, in the middle of the map!" I noticed she pointed her index finger at the middle of the map.

"With that material, you can create a tunnel to connect to our power," Humune added.

"What? Tunnel? Oh, shoot, so many things I don't know." I cursed because the explanation opened up another question.

"Tunnel is the connection that connects our souls and hearts to you, my dear!" Bella added.

"Why did you help me so much? I don't understand. Could you explain to me, please?" I asked.

Then Bella and Humune looked at each other and giggled.

"Because we have a history together," Humune said.

"Big sis, don't tell a thing about the past to my lord, please..." Bella begged her big sister to keep the mystery out of my reach.

"Understood, lil sis," Humune replied and nodded attentively.

"Why are you addressing me as your dreamer?" I asked because I had already heard the word 'Dreamer' multiple times over, and I could not get it out of my head.
