"Mr Kevin!"

"Thank you for coming to my aid."

The lad said to Damien. His green eyes lit up his whole face. He was good-looking but unkempt. And because of that, his beauty was hidden.

"Are you in the same department as he?"

Damien asked. The lad nodded.

"I shouldn't have given the letter to her. I've written so many of them, which I ended up trashing. I have no idea what got over me this time. If I had trashed it like the rest, perhaps this wouldn't have happened to me."

Damien gazed softly on the lad as he spoke. Damien sighed, looking away for a while.

"Don't beat yourself up for confessing your feelings. Nobody should be made to feel that way because of their feelings. It just happens that some people are not worthy of our sincere emotions. They prefer living in the illusion of class and recognition. They need social validation to feel alive. They are like walking dead. They have no life for themselves. They are the most pathetic of all human beings."
