My Income Multiplier System

Chapter 1

“So? Did you get me the condom like what I’ve instructed you to do in the doordash app?”

In the grand and extravagant hallway of Millenia Hotel, Liam Walker was put in a tough spot by a customer dressed solely in a bathrobe.

Standing in the doorway with the delivery food in his hands, Liam could only utter an apology to the customer.

“Didn’t I say that I will reward you handsomely with tips if you help me with the purchase of a condom? What do you mean you are sorry?” 

The thirty year old looking man berated Liam as if Liam was his servant before shoving him a hundred dollar bill into Liam’s hands without his consent.

“Look. I don’t care. Go and get me a condom right now! Keep the change while you are at it!”

“Sorry sir, I have to decline. This is my last delivery job for the day. I have to return home early to my wife.” Liam rejected firmly. 

He needed to return to his wife. 

It was their one year wedding anniversary tonight, and even though his wife had told him that she would be busy with work, Liam was not about to give up on celebrating the anniversary with his wife.

He had a candlestick dinner prepared as a surprise for his wife and he wanted to return home to prepare. Thus, despite the promise of a generous tip from the customer, Liam refused to go out of the way and buy a condom for the customer he was serving.

“You are just a filthy delivery driver, and you dare to reject your customer’s request? I don’t believe it! How about a thousand dollars? I’d bet you will accept my offer now!” 

Faced with rejection from a lowly delivery driver, the man raised his voice. 

“What’s all the fuzz, Andrew? It’s fine if you don’t have a condom. It’s a safe day for me today. I’ll let you release inside me all you want.”

Just when Liam was about to decline the rude offer from the customer’s again, a seductive voice sounded from inside the hotel room to calm the man at the doorway.

Immediately, the man revealed a sheepish smile on his face whilst the complete opposite happened for Liam. 

Upon hearing the female’s voice, blood began to drain from Liam’s face!

There was no mistaking it! Liam could recognise that voice even if he was certified deaf! He was so familiar with the owner of the voice that he knew who the voice belonged to. The voice definitely belonged to his wife!

“Grace?!”

Pushing aside the customer standing at the doorway, Liam bolted into the hotel room, desperately to find out the answer. 

With each step he took, his heart beat faster and faster. Once he was entirely inside the room, his body shook violently.

There, on the hotel king-sized bed, was Grace. Dressed in a black seductive lingerie, she was playing with herself with her fingers, moaning occasionally.

When she had finally noticed who the figure that had suddenly entered the room was, her body jolted up with shock while she covered herself with the hotel’s duvet.

“Ah! Liam! What are you doing here?” Grace nervously asked as her face paled. 

Seeing Liam at the hotel room was the last thing she expected, especially in the state she was in.

“Well, apparently, I was supposed to buy a condom for another man to have sex with you!” Liam chuckled bitterly. He could not believe that such an ironic situation befell upon him.

“Tell me, Grace! Why did you cheat on me after all that I’ve done?” Liam continued in a cold tone.

“Who is this man, Grace?” While Liam was demanding answers from Grace, the thirty years old looking man interrupted Liam angrily, grabbing Liam’s left arm. Despite his tough appearance, he was embarrassed that his body was still hurt from Liam’s shove.

“Andrew, this is my useless husband whom I’ve always told you about. The disgrace of the Henson Family.”

Seeing the man returned to her side, Grace’s face brightened up immediately and started to mock Liam. After taking cover behind the man, her face turned spiteful and bitter.

“So, this is the infamous useless son-in-law of the Henson Family? The good-for-nothing husband of yours that does all the household chores of your family like a servant?” The man sneered at Liam with contempt.

“You knew she was a married woman and yet, you had sex with her?” Liam was fuming after hearing that Grace had been talking poorly about him behind his back. He felt the entire world collapsing around him.

Both the man in question and Grace were knowingly cheating on him behind his back, and yet, all this time, he was foolishly preparing an anniversary with Grace.

“How could you do this to me? Is my love for you insufficient?" Liam questioned with a trembling voice.

"Love? From a good-for-nothing man that can't provide me with the life I want? A poor delivery driver like you has no rights to even reproduce, let alone love someone." Grace rolled her eyes and scoffed out loud before continuing her mocking.

"Unlike you, Andrew here is from the wealthy and influential Mason family. He could annihilate your entire existence without even lifting a single finger! Compared to him, you are just a pathetic worm who struggles to even make a living for yourself. If it’s not for me, you would not even have a roof over your head now! Even your skills in bed pale in comparison to Andrew’s!” 

“If that’s the case, then why did you marry me? In the first place, it was you who had approached me and fell in love with me!” Liam argued. He could not understand why Grace had such a drastic change in character.

“Oh please! That's because you are the son of Ethan Walker, the most powerful man in Novian City! But who knew that you are just an illegitimate child between Ethan Walker and his maid! The Henson family made the decision to pounce on you on the off-chance that you would inherit his fortune because of the news that he was about to die! Turns out, even after his death, you are still a bastard that won’t be recognised by the Walker Family!” Grace laughed.

“Does that mean everything is a lie? You got into a relationship with me because of my identity? You will regret doing this to me, Grace Henson!” Liam shouted angrily at the adulterous pair and threw a punch.

However, his punch was swiftly blocked by Andrew and in return, Liam's stomach was kicked.

“What can you do as a delivery boy? Hah! Don’t worry, I’ll treat your wife tenderly in my arms tonight while you sleep in the streets! By the way, do you know why Grace has not divorced you yet? That’s because you were free labor doing household chores as a live-in son-in-law!” Andrew laughed in Liam’s face.

“No. You guys will pay for what you did! Shit! Why am I so powerless?” Liam shouted at the top of his lungs and gritted his teeth, but several guards employed under the hotel had swarmed the scene, surrounding him from all sides.

After separating Liam from their esteemed guests, and after dragging Liam out from the room, he was subsequently kicked out of the hotel with bruises all over his body.

“Damn it! If only I was stronger!” Liam lamented as he laid on the streets, his eyes staring at the imposing Millenia Hotel.
