CHAPTER 26: #1 & #2 (1) Valtor Rose approached the building with them following close behind. He could see a sign hung up reading "PERMS ORPHANAGE". Marko and Ted stood side by side to each other, their eyes fixated on the huge wooden door that carried a number of cobwebs and scratches. They could all feel the fear, it had never been once recorded that terrors worked as an organized group. What could that possibly mean? "Marko, Ted welldone in sparking that wonderful chemical reaction. It's proof that you despite being in Cobalt Blue the weakest ranked house, you can easily link up the perfect attacks without communication." Valtor spoke with certainty. "I want the rest of you to recreate that, this is not a drill. This place clearly reeks of human flesh as it seems some of these monsters are humans. Also... There is a very high possibility that there's a high terror in there." They all had puzzled looks except the uncanny duo that were both lost in thoug
CHAPTER 27: #1 & #2 (2) Number two started to assault the two girls at an incredible speed causing them to back up as fast as they could. "Hey, werido! Don't get in my way!" Nari yelled at her companion. "If you want to help do your thing!" Echo nodded without doing anything. Number two chuckled as she started to multiply in great numbers. "After consuming so many female organs I have been able to freely reproduce more of me, it's a really demanding skill but it's worth it if I get to eat someone else like you two loves." Now there were about fifteen copies of her each with inhuman claws on their hands. Nari hissed. "Are you sure you were really human?" "Humanity is a fleeting, father's goal to destroy humanity will be achieved at all costs." Number two said. Nari generated blue electricity from her hands and legs. "Lightning Flash!" She darted forward and started to slay the clones of nine that had just doubled in size. She reproducing them much more faster than I can
CHAPTER 28: THE BEAST CALLED NUMBER ONE Ted ignited his red flame and screamed at the top of his voice. "Flaming fist!! Larva Burn." The monster labeled as number one pulled back and blocked the flames with a simple gesture. "Haha, then I have to turn up the heat even more." Marko watched Ted from behind in amazement. "Ted really has gotten stronger. You sure you do not want me to help?" Ted laughed with pride resonating in his voice. "Nah! Just watch me show you how it's done!" Marko remembered how egoistic Ted was, that was where his true strength came from. His pride! Ted used his rocket feet to increase his attack speed and close in on number one. "Eat my flames ugly!" There was an explosion of fire as smoke as the mutant threw his fist for his head. "Whoa!" Ted yelled as he pulled back sharply. "Damn, he survived my strongest attack up close? This guy is really something." He put a
CHAPTER 29: TED'S DARK PAST "ACCK!" "What is this darkness?" Ted saw himself standing in a small cottage, sunlight streaked in through the window indicating that it was still daytime. But where? He could see the fire place, the mat the table. It seemed all to familiar for him not to remember. "Why am I home?" A chair appeared before him, a small wooden chair just before the small fireplace. The was a figure sitting in the armchair. "Umm, who are you?" He asked in a scared tone. "Tsk! It is chilly today is it not... Son?" A small sweet voice spoke to him. Ted gasped out of shock and walked slowly to the front of the chair and looked at the sickly woman seated in the chair wearing a simple gown and having thick brown hair draping down her side. Her face looked shriveled and distorted by old age but she looked to be in her early twenties. Ted had shrunk back to a younger version of himself of age five. "M-- mom?" He broke into a light sob.
CHAPTER 30: THE FLAME EMPEROR AWAKENING Ted's flame burned even redder than before, the smoke that sizzled from it were so massive that his body itself was beginning to get burned up in that flame. "Die!" Number one blocked it with his right fist only to have it blown off instantly. "You are stronger insect but the gap between us is still far as the heaven from earth." WHAM! "FLAMING KICK!" Ted drove his lit leg into the mutant's side slicing him in half. "I have to get damn stronger than you or that brat, so quit yapping already. Come at me like you mean it!" Number one smiled and regrew his body part almost instantaneously and junped back to put some distance between them when Ted closed the gap in an instant and blew his head off his body. BOOM! Number one regrew his head and jumped back. "My regeneration has been slowed, even with the powers of my brethren in me I can't seem to keep up with him." Ted came to a halt and screamed. "Quit runnin
CHAPTER 31: THE DOCTOR Marko stood there keeping the rest of team five safe from the huge explosions. He had resisted the urge to go save his best friend from-- well, himself. And now it was all over, as much as he want to run over and see if Ted was okay he still had one porblem... "Where is Valtor?" He asked himself. [Detecting Strong Power Level Of 9.5] [Level: High Rank Terror] "What? A terror? An actually terror?" "But I thought high ranks were just stories, what could one be doing here then? And where is Mr Valtor?" At the top of the stairs was a figure, no ! It looked like a man but it was a humanoid creature with black skin and six hands that looked like syringes, knives and needles. "Impressive, very impressive indeed!" The terror spoke in clear human speech expression his emotion of rage. Clearly something different from what Marko had heard about terrors. "It makes all my hard work for year seem like I was just playing around." M
CHAPTER 32: A HIGH RANK TERROR Marko did not have much of a choice but to strategize his next course of action. "The best thing to do would be to distract the doctor with the full might of my infinite super strength and then use impulse to move past the line of his blind spot and burst Master Valtor put of the cage while also anticipation that he already expects me to make that move beforehand." "I have to eliminate all doubt from myself and give it my all, for my friends and my master." The doctor screamed at him. "Don't waste my time filthy gifted and come already, don't you want to save your greatest weapon? I will gladly take out all my anger on you just like I did to those pathetic humans." Marko froze. "What?" The doctor looked highly displeased at him. "This was an orphanage till I took charge and used the children for my experiments to benefit the higher ups. After I ran out of test subjects I came to the town and took them all now it seems I have to m
CHAPTER 33: STRATEGY Marko from all the training he had been doing recently had realized that there was a limit to how much his body could take before expending his energy. At least this was how it was for others but for him who has infinite potential his case was the reverse. His limit was on how much he could display before expending his body. He was like a jar holding a very volatile liquid. If the jar was too weak when shaken, it would crack and explode. Marko closed in on the high rank terror while using both infinite super strength and supersonic speed to maneuver out of his deadly needle like hands and landing a strong blow on his opponent's side. WHAM! Using the moment of distraction he moved to his blindspot to save Valtor but the doctor immediately caught wind of it and smacked him on the face. "Oho, you blocked that?" The doctor screeched at him. Marko screamed out from the shockwave as his hands rattled violently. [CONVERTING EXTERNA
