Chapter 47

The expression Derek was portraying now revealed just how he felt. It was anger and there was nothing he could do to hide just how much anger he felt for the man.

Right at the moment, they were somewhere really far from the club. This wasn't even a familiar ground as it was a hidden location that Derek had gotten ready just to do what he wanted to do.

The man was tied to a chair just opposite where Derek was standing and his face looked a bit bruised from being beaten by the men Derek hired.

"I'm sure you know who I am," Derek started to say. "Even if you don't, from what I told you, you already have an idea."

"I don't know who you are," the man forced himself to speak.

"Catherine McKay. That rings a bell, doesn't it?"

The man squints his eyes as if in recognition of the name Derek just called.

"Yeah, I can see that it does. I'm informing you now that I'm Derek McKay, her husband…"

The information was possibly everything the man needed to know that he was totally at Derek's mercy now.
