"Are you trying to find a way out of this? If that's what you're planning to do, I'll have to tell you that it isn't working," Derek told the man who just told him about his wife being with someone else other than him.

"I'm not lying, sir. I once found her eating out with someone and the position I met them was very intimate. I even took pictures of them which I later used against Catherine."

"How did you use it against her?" Derek asked.

"Since I had an interest in Catherine, I used the pictures I had to threaten her to be with me. I didn't only use that. I looked into her private affairs and found out she was in need of money and so promised to take care of her however she wanted me to," the man explained.

"And clearly it worked," Derek said. "I don't see how her being with another man has anything to do with what is on ground."
