“It depends on what you are going to ask.”, Perseus responded by folding his arms.

“You and a cop came here. Am I right?”

“Yes.” Perseus was getting fed up with the questions the man was asking him. “You can already see that.”

“How did the men get injured? It looked more like an attack than self-defense.”

“They had traps everywhere.” He replied. “Their traps got them when we were chasing after them.”

“Do you also mean that the trap broke that man’s leg?” The officer gestured for Ben, whose limbs were all broken.”

Perseus ran his hand through his hair; he had no idea that Lexi was going to do such a thing. “I guess so. You should see the house yourself! I bet none of your officers will be able to walk into that house without being stung by a dart.”

As if on a clue, an officer who had just walked into the house screamed. A dart had got him on the neck.
