“You what?” Perseus demanded.

Iva almost jumped off her seat. Vania was staring at her, expecting her to stay silent about it and not say anything.

“Iva is usually nervous in front of influential people,” Vania claimed, nudging Iva on the shoulder again. “Isn’t that right?”

Iva shook her head rapidly; she could already tell the lie wouldn’t take them anywhere. “We did it.” She answered.

A smile curled up Vania’s lips. Iva had always listened and followed everything she said. “See, she admitted that we made the game together at a sleepover at each other's house. Perhaps the person who lied about us plagiarizing the game was probably jealous of us.”

“No!” Iva yelled. “We didn’t create the game idea together at a sleepover. The game was stolen from J.K., and I was made to lie about it being my idea even though I didn’t write it.”
