Chapter 418_Calling Perseus

Eriane glanced at the door, a worried look on her face. “Is he going to be alright?” She turned to her parents. “Let’s call Perseus.”

She hurried into the house and grabbed her phone from the table nearby. Rushing back to her parents, she began dialing Perseus' number.

“He will pick up, right?” she asked.

Gabrielle nodded. “He will.”

Relic paced back and forth. “I feel terrible for leaving him out there, but he’s a bodyguard, right? He can take care of himself. Still, why do I feel like the principal is stronger? And why the heck is he here? Perseus didn’t tell us why he hid us here, but he was sure no one would find us. This is so confusing!”

Eriane glanced at the phone. “Pick up, pick up,” she chanted. “Why isn’t he picking up?”

She left the door and hurried into the house, climbing the stairs, pulling open a door, and hurrying in. There was a telephone on the table in the room, so she took it and dialed a number as fast as possible.
