Chapter 8_Did You Forget To Kneel And Call Me Grandpa?

“Geez!” Perseus rubbed his face with his palm. “Why do I always have to deal with bitches like you?”

 

Sherry froze with her eyes glued to the screen. His friends looked like they had just been hit by a truck as they stared at the screen.

 

“How…how…is that even possible?” Sherry demanded. “I thought you were poor; how come?”

 

“That was a fake alert, right?” Laura demanded as her head snapped back in his direction. “It is impossible for you to have that amount of money.”

 

Perseus let out a sigh. “I knew that you would doubt me.” He raised his head. “Waiter, can I get my bills?”

 

The crowd began murmuring again.

 

'He is so confident, I doubt that he is poor, like Laura said.’

 

'She is just jealous that her friend has a rich brother, unlike her, who has a bad brother.’

 

The words pierced Laura like a sword, and she guessed she still had a chance against him. “It seems that he made a fake transaction. If he would be able to pay for all of his bills, then I will do as he says.”

 

“Bitch! You made a deal, and now you are going back on your words.” Sherry yelled at Laura.

 

Perseus gripped her shoulder to stop her from speaking. “Don't worry, I am here.”

 

The words seemed to give Sherry confidence because she nodded in agreement.

 

A card was made from your points, and you have no points left. [You can find the card in your right pocket.]

 

Perseus smiled as he dug his hand into his pocket.

 

“Sir, your outstanding bills are fifteen million dollars in total.” The saleswoman informed him.

 

“You all will see now that he has no money on him.” Laura muttered, and Sherry felt like digging a hand in her throat for saying that.

 

Perseus handed his golden card to the lady. “Swipe it.”

 

“What an asshole; you better give up.”

 

The lady swiped the card. Laura was waiting for it to be rejected, but to her horror, the machine turned green.

 

“PAYMENTS SUCCESSFUL!”

 

Laura's jaw dropped in astonishment as she heard that. The lady who swiped the card handed Perseus his card back alongside a VIP card.

 

“Since you made such a large purchase, you are now a VIP of the Freya-jo restaurant.”

 

Perseus friends were sitting stiffly like statues, their mouths hanging open in shock at the unfolding events.

 

Perseus took the cards. “Thank you.”

 

“How is that possible?” Laura asked as her body shook. “You were poor yesterday, weren't you?”

 

He brushed her off. “Don't worry about that; we made a deal, didn't we?”

 

“You have to apologize!” Sherry snarled.

 

“No way!"

 

“Okay, I guess I have to do it the hard way then.” Perseus muttered.

 

Before anyone could understand what was happening, the screen was already filled with embarrassing photos of Laura and her elder brother.

 

The crowd began to murmur and throw curses at Laura. Not understanding what was happening, she glanced around until her gaze landed on the screen.

 

“Everyone!” Perseus yelled. “Laura Smith had been having an affair with the man she called her brother, Jay Smith. She had been doing all sorts of things to him and had recorded it on her phone.”

 

'She is a bitch!’ A lady yelled.

 

‘'Who would have thought she would do such a thing?’

 

'Disgusting.'

 

'A cunt that has an eye for her brother.’

 

‘How much would it cost for a night?’

 

'Can I pay $50 per night?’

 

Laura hurriedly tried to turn off her phone, but it wouldn't work. Turning her gaze back to Perseus, she glared at him.

 

“Make it all stop!”

 

Perseus eyes darkened. “Did you forget to kneel and call me Grandpa?”

 

Dropping to her knees, she hung her head in embarrassment. “I already knelt down.”

 

“Apologize to Sherry.” Perseus ordered.

 

“I'm sorry.” She mumbled.

 

“How loud was your voice when you were accusing her?!"

 

“I am sorry.” Laura increased her voice.

 

“I still can't hear you!” Perseus bellowed. “Do you want me to let the videos go viral online?”

 

“No! You can't.”

 

“Then apologize properly.”

 

“I'm sorry, Sherry Kim!” Her voice was loud enough to reach everyone's ears. Tears leaked from the corner of her eyes as she tried to stop herself. “I am sorry for forcefully accusing you!”

 

Sherry was too stunned to see Laura apologize. “You don't even say it like you mean it.”

 

Laura's hand tightened in fury at her apologizing to Sherry.

 

“Now all you have to do is call me Grandpa.” Perseus muttered. “And I will take off the video.”

 

“Grandpa, I was wrong.” She yelled. “Sorry for saying all that stuff about you.”

 

“Good girl.” Perseus muttered.

 

“Now, can you ask for the video?”

 

“Not yet.” Perseus ruffled his hair. “You have to pay ten million dollars for slandering me, or I will send the videos to the net.”

 

“You went back on your words!” Laura snarled.

 

“You did too; now do we have a deal?”

 

Laura was crying in anger as she reached out to take her phone. This time the phone worked, and she transferred the money to him.

 

“I already sent it; can you take it down now?”

 

He looked at his phone for the alert, and a sneering smile of satisfaction crossed his face. He made the video disappear. “I took all of your life savings, Laura Smith; how are you going to feed now?”

 

“You!” Laura yelled.

 

Perseus asked for three hundred thousand dollars from the system and took it from his pocket. He threw the money in the air and pointed a finger at Laura.

 

“Anyone who could slap her can take all of the money I threw to the ground,” Perseus announced.

 

“Don't do this to me!” Laura yelled. “We already..."

 

Before she could complete her sentence, her brother was the first to descend on her and begin slapping her. While the others hurried over to her.

 

“Tobias, Orion, let's go!”

 

His friends got off their seats and walked over to him. They all walked out of the restaurant, leaving Laura to her fate.

 

Perseus was still holding Sherry; he wondered if he could give her another job, like being his stripper. He pictured her dancing in the clothes he got for her and began drooling.

 

Just then, the electric current hit him, and his body vibrated in shock, including hers.
