Chapter 177 - Rendezvous

The pirates brought the fight to us and immediately sent out a barrage of projectiles in our direction, with an additional bundle of arrows. Those spells they cast were a mixture of every element known to mankind, but not the unique and powerful ones such as lava and ice. But the one that caught my eyes are the arrows coated in person. They had come prepared.

Thanks to the barricade field I had created, these arrows and skill shots were easily disposed of. The barrage of attacks still continued raining upon us, but the forcefield I had made with glass and other transparent but robust substance was enough to protect the town.

When the pirates noticed their attacks weren't getting through, the blitz of projectiles and arrows stopped. They must have realised that there was a shield of some sort protecting the place. But the dome was invisible in the eyes. No matter how hard these pirates tried checking, they would never find the cover.

If I had to guess it right, these pirates would plan
