Chapter 176 - Taking the Trap

As soon as the ninja left, I went flat on my bed and slept throughout the night. I knew some ninjas and my soldiers were watching over me, so I didn’t have to worry about sudden ambushes during my sleep. And the same could be said to the soldiers. I worried about everything.

But once the night ended, I hurriedly went outside, did my thing, and met with soldiers. They were already stationed outside the municipal hall, together with Mayor Leonard. The ninjas were also waiting from above, watching for pirates who had breached the area or cast their spells.

Since the ninja or the scout I had sent returned and informed everyone, the soldiers were aware of what was happening. Normally, I would ask the scouts what they found or any updates about the pirates. But it seemed something had already happened, and this meeting right now was meant to brief the situation.

The ninja or the scouts were not the ones telling everything. It was the soldiers. Since these ninjas had already explained it t
