A Killer

Erin froze momentarily.

“What?” She asked, feeling like she heard something wrong. “What did you say?”

“I mean it, Erin. You can't leave.” Ethan said to her, this time he looked much more serious and the reality of the situation finally dawned on Erin.

“Haha…” Erin let out, squinting her eyes as her laughter resonated through the area. Ethan sighed seeing her like that, he looked around and sure enough, a few guards were looking at them.

“Come here…” Ethan whispered to her, he took her hand and led her directly toward the stairs and back to the bedroom they were in before. As soon as the door closed behind them, Erin violently withdrew her hand from Ethan’s hand.
