Fake Arrest

Ethan stood still and he frowned in displeasure seeing who was at the door.

“What are you doing here?” He asked, folding his arms.

“I am here to see you. Don't you want to see me anymore?” Becca asked, walking toward Ethan with a sultry look in her eyes. She tried to touch him but then he stepped as if she was garbage.

“I see that you have dumped Ray. Why?” Ethan asked, stepping to the side and then going toward the door.

He had a long day and he wasn't about to chat away into the midnight with Becca.

“You know I only went to Ray because I wanted to give us both a better life. I had to act that way in the hotel so Ray wouldn't be suspicious. I have loved you from the beginning. Why would I date you if I didn't?” She said in one breath.

Ethan wasn't moved by her words and he only inserted his key and opened the door.

“Are you a mosquito?” He asked before opening the door.

“What?”

“You are buzzing like one.” He replied and then opened the door, went in, and shut it in her face.
