Jealousy

“You have three days.” The chief’s voice rang in Erin’s head as she stepped out of the office. Mason was still there and she looked at him with a troubled gaze.

“Take me to Ethan.” She demanded.

Mason nodded, without asking any further questions. He took out his phone to inform someone that the plans had changed completely. They had planned to get Erin forcefully out of the police building if she was ever arrested.

Erin alongside Mason walked out of the building with fingers pointing at them.

“She is leaving?”

“How could they let a murderer leave?”

Erin closed her eyes, trying to get through this moment. The moment she got into the parking lot, which was empty, she let out a scream, “Ahhhh… fuck!”

She banged her fist on the car trunk angrily, she felt like she was about to explode from within.

“If you damage the car, you are going to pay.” Mason pointed out.
