Mission Incomplete

Eva was still snuggled on Ethan's body in the backseat as Erin drove straight to Skyrise Avenue.

However, Erin couldn't sit still and she repeatedly glanced at the mirror before her to check on Ethan and Eva.

“You don't have to make it so obvious, Erin,” Ethan said with a smile, a small chuckle escaping his lips.

“I don't know what you are talking about.” She rolled her eyes and took off her eyes from the mirror.

Seeing Eva still snuggled with Ethan, she didn't like it. To her, it wasn't right and it felt like she was in his space. She reminded herself that there was no way she could claim to be jealous since she didn't have feelings for Ethan.

“Can’t you let her down? She is asleep already.” She frowned, displeased.

“As you wish,” Ethan replied, glancing at Eva’s face which was calm. She was a stark contrast to how she was in the beginning.

Also, he felt that he had completed his mission to a certain degree.
