Thank You

Erin collapsed to the floor and she sobbed, with her head between her legs. She felt hurt that she and her colleagues were just seen as fools while the police head ordered them around.

“Erin…” Ethan called out with a worried look on her face. He killed those bastards for her so they wouldn't touch her but she didn't seem to care. He walked up to her and dragged her up.

“See, I can't console you now. We still have a lot to do. The captives are still in there and they are probably terrorized. I trust that you know what to do about your boss. You'll find your way around it.” Ethan explained, holding her shoulders.

“You are right.” Erin nodded, wiping her tears with her hands.

“This isn't the time to cry. Let’s go.” She said, quickly as she detached herself from him. Ethan watched her go in and out of the office and carried those boys and girls out.

Their brains had been blown out and it all happened before Erin. It was no wonder everything was too overwhelming for her.
