The Elders

The car came to a stop with a loud screech in front of the mansion and Eva stepped out, rushing in while she wiped her tears. Her heart ached a lot and she couldn't believe that the imaginary father in her memory was that man.

“Eva!” Ethan got out, and went through the gates after her but she didn't stop.

He didn't want to be the one to tell her about her past but she had pestered him in the car and he couldn't help but divulge everything in the car.

Chairman Davis came after them but he stopped at the gate by Ray, “I am sorry, chairman but outsiders are not allowed into the mansion.”

“What do you mean? My daughter is in there and you are calling me an outsider? Step aside this minute or I will order my men to take you down!” Chairman Davis threatened angrily.

“Well, I guess your men will fall before you.” Ray sneered with a wicked look in his eyes. He wasn't scared of the threats at all.

The Chairman took a step back, breathing in and out heavily while he checked out the mansion
