Ethan’s car was parked outside of the police station as he watched lines of cars arrive just before it. Chairman Davis got out of one of the cars and immediately marched into the police station. Ethan was quite sure he was there to bail Eva out.

It would be easier for the chairman to do that than Ethan doing that. Ethan might risk exposing himself if he intervened.

On the other hand, Ethan was quite concerned about Erin and Eva. Ray had informed him that Eva was not transferred to the hospital like they claimed as the cameras and devices on Erin were still intact, and nobody had searched them all through the night.

Ethan consoled himself in the fact that he could see that they were alright. He patiently waited for Eva and Erin to appear so he could take measures to care for them.

A few minutes later, Chairman Davis’ voice resounded, transmitted from the device on Erin’s body and Ethan could hear it.

“Eva, my child.” The Chairman cried, his voice shaky.
