My Rich Squandering System

An Impossible Task

Robin stood up to his feet, in surprise, seeing the way Sofia knelt at his feet. It wasn't the most unexpected situation for him but then he wanted to know why she was here.

"Why are you here?" He asked, in a cold tone as he looked down at her with a cold expression. He had not seen her since the day she left him to die, at the gym. No matter what he goes through, he will never forget the humiliation he felt right before Durk all because he loved a woman.

"I want you back, Robin. You are the only one I love." She let out, in a low tone as she looked up at me and the whole class gasped again. She didn't care if they looked at her, with judging eyes, she had to do what she had to do.

"Look at her, she is so shameless." One of the students said as they pointed accusing fingers at Sofia.

"She bashed Robin right on the school's forum and now, she is here to beg him? How slutty could she be? Has Durk dumped her and now she is here to receive some cash from Robin?" Another student said and they all nodded their heads, in unison.

"She is a gold-digger!" Another said, in a thundering tone. They all thought Sofia was back to beg Robin because she needed money and he was the new money bag after all.

All those words flowed into Robin's ears and he tried his best not to react. He looked down at Sofia and he tried to force the images in his head, right out. He had no feelings for her anymore but he was still angry about the humiliation he got right in the gym.

"Mac, get her out." He ordered Mac who had come to stand beside him. Sofia was disrupting his class and he didn't like that. His eyes shone with so much anger but he tried to conceal it as the school's most beautiful lady, came to sit beside him as he sat back down.

"Let me go!" He watched Sofia scream as she was carried out of the class. He finally had some peace after a few moments but it was only outwardly.

The scenes from the gym continued to flash before his eyes and he did not like it. It only got him more livid and he clenched his fists so tight around the desk.

In the next second, there was a breaking sound and the lady beside him gasped.

"Ahh, you are so strong!" The lady said, with amazed eyes as he put her hands around Robin, pulling him into an embrace.

On one hand, he got a feel of her soft chest and on the other hand, he thought that the embrace was unnecessary.

"Do you go to the gym, often?" She asked and even though Robin was so uninterested in the conversation, he liked the look of adoration in her eyes even though he knew why. He was strong because he used his system points to enhance his skills.

"No, I do not." He replied, in a curt tone and even though he did that, she would not stop talking to him.

"Then you must be naturally strong, then. I wonder how you are..." Her words flowed into Robin's ears but the flow was cut short went they all heard a bang.

The door was forced open and they all saw Sofia rushing in with a force like never before.

"The fuck!" Mac cussed as he had just thrown her out, minutes ago.

Robin stood up to his feet as he wondered if Sofia had gone mad. He thought he had gotten rid of her but it didn't seem that way. Even though he had vowed to take revenge on her for humiliating him, he didn't need her bugging him this way.

"Robin, do not listen to her! She is a gold-digger!" Sofia screamed as she rushed toward Robin, with the lady beside him. It was obvious she was talking about the beautiful lady beside standing with her supposed lover.

"What? Me? A gold-digger?" The beautiful lady asked, with a snort and with pride swirling in her eyes.

"Yes, you! You are trying to seduce him, knowing he loves me and not you!" Sofia thundered, with red eyes.

"Well, you should look at yourself before calling me names, you old hag! You think he loves you, huh? Watch how he throws you right out of the gutter!" The lady thundered, with red eyes as she looked straight at Sofia. It was a heated standoff as all the students had gathered around for a show.

"You dare talk right back at me?" Sofia asked as she was ready to lung at the beautiful lady for a fight. However, Robin was having none of it.

"Enough!" He thundered and the ladies froze. His eyes were filled with so much anger and while it was thrilling to have two beautiful ladies fight over him, it wasn't what he wanted. Right at this moment, he just wanted to think of what he needed to squander his money on.

"Robin..." Sofia let out, in a shaky tone.

"Enough! Get the fuck out of..." He started to lash out at her but then he froze. He heard the system's voice in his head and a screen appeared before him, showing Sofia's face.

[Attention! Attention! Robin Claire, a new task has popped up! You are to accept Sofia in twenty minutes!]

He froze for a few more minutes as he couldn't fathom why the system would ask him to do that.

How could he accept Sofia back before everyone? He would be labelled a simp and he wouldn't even be proud of his actions.

A person who bashed him, right on the school's forum, with no remorse.

"What's wrong with Robin?" Someone asked as Mac came to stand beside him to shake him up.

On the other hand, the clock was ticking and the twenty minutes would be up, soon. Robin swallowed as he looked at the face he loathed right on the system's screen.

"What if I don't take her back? What are the consequences?" He asked the system in his mind. By all means, he wanted to avoid Sofia and just deal with her accordingly from afar.

[It's simple, Robin Claire. You will go back to being poorer than the poorest and your looks as well as your skills will recede beyond normal!]

Those words resonated in Ronin's head and he shuddered. What was he to choose now?
