Cracked Expression

"Shit!" Durk yelled, in anger as he marched into the extravagant tent he had created for his opening. He felt like his head was going to burst and his eyes were red. He looked all around and he could see no one. Everyone had left and with his phone in hand, he replayed the video going viral on the school's forum.

"Ahhh!!" He yelled, in anger as he punched the wall, continuously. Soon, his hand started to bleed but then he did not stop. His anger only increased by multiple folds.

"I'm going to kill you, Robin! I'm going to kill you!" He let out, through gritted teeth as he scrolled through his phone, quickly. He wanted to do something. Something that would shake everyone and take Robin out.

Never in his life had he expected that things would turn out this way! Never!

He thought he had everything under control and he was going to win over Robin. He thought that he was going to be the school's most loved person but everything turned out to be for naught.

"I can't take this!" He said as he started to put calls across to the hitmen he had sent to Robin. A few calls in, and no one was picking up.

"Pick up the damn phone!" Durk yelled as he continued to punch a series of numbers on his phone and even after a few rings, no one was picking up.

"Fuck!" He yelled as he threw his phone to the wall. The phone broke into pieces, splashing all over but he did not even care that it was the latest phone and it cost a lot. He could buy tens of it. He had the money. But then his money failed to give him what he wanted the most right now and that was Robin's downfall.

"Durk..." A female voice called out as she stepped into the tent, slowly. She had been there watching Durk move around, in anger. When he threw the phone right at the wall, the sharp pieces flew toward her and she got cut in the face.

"What?" Durk turned around, with red eyes as he looked at Sofia. Even though everyone had left, she was still there.

"Why are you here? Are you not supposed to be licking Robin's feet right now? Everyone loves your poor ex-boyfriend now." Durk said, with a mocking look and he turned to look away with his hands on his waist. He was breathing heavily at this point and different plans of bringing down Robin were going on in his head.

"Durk, you need to calm down." Sofia said as she walked toward him and hugged him from behind. She had gotten a lot of money from Durk and she didn't want to leave him just yet. Even though she was envious of Robin who received all the love. If she was still Robin's girlfriend, she would have been in the spotlight.

"I can't calm down! I need to tell the world that that rat is a poor one! He should not be liked or followed." Durk replied and it seemed as if he was turning obsessive and Sofia was taken aback.

"Why did everything have to happen this way? Huh?" He asked as he detached himself from Sofia. He thought about everything but he couldn't even connect the dots. And as he looked at Sofia, he realized something.

"You! You have been helping him, right?" He asked.

"What? No!" Sofia replied, immediately and she started to step back when he moved toward her.

"You are the cause of every fucking thing! If you were not here, all these wouldn't have happened to me!" He thundered and Sofia was in disbelief.

"No, Durk. You are misunderstanding the whole thing." She said but he was having none of it.

"You are helping that rat with everything and you come here and act like you love me!" He spoke up but Sofia tried to defend herself but then she couldn't even say a word.

"Please, listen to me..." She let out finally.

"You are just pretending to love me while you go back to him, right?!" Durk said, in anger. But deep down, he was insecure. He had never had any connection with Robin except through Sofia and she was the only person she could link to him. Then he knew Robin couldn't even measure up to his driver, however, Robin had shut up to the skies and he hated that.

He felt that no one was supposed to be head-to-head with him, right in the school. At this point, he felt a strong sense of competition.

"I'm innocent, Durk!" Sofia said as she put out her hand toward him. However, the unexpected happened when he raised his hand and sent a slap across her face.

"Ahhh!!" Sofia screamed, in pain mixed with disbelief.

"Why would you do this to me, Durk?" She said, with a pained tone.

"Shut up, you bitch! You are never innocent until I say so!" He thundered and the whole place went silent and only Sofia's whimper

"Now, you will do as I say!" He let out after thinking for a few moments.

"You will go back to your ex-boyfriend, seduce him, and make him trust you! You have to get information from him and tell me whatever he is doing!" Durk let out as he was desperate to know how Robin had turned the situation around.

"What? I can't do that!" Sofia said, quickly.

"You want to defy me, huh?" He asked as he dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out another phone.

"No! But I can't humiliate myself before Robin. He is going to kill me. I'm with you now." She said as a tear slipped from her eye. She could not believe she had been subjected to such a state.

"You think so, huh?" Durk asked, with raised brows as he tapped on his phone continuously. In the next second, a video started to play on his phone and Sofia opened her mouth in shock. She never thought he still had that video and slowly, her body calmed down. She went weak.

"So, what do you say?" He asked, with a mocking look in his eyes.

"I'll do it." She said, relenting with her head, bowed. She never thought he would have her wrapped around his fingers in such a way.

At the same time, she was scared and skeptical that Robin would take her back. But then she was confident in the fact that Robin loved her.

"Hi, Robin!" The school's most beautiful lady walked up to Robin who was seated at the forefront of class.

It had been a day since the opening that he had received a massive turnout and now, he was the talk of the school with different ladies flocking around him due to his enhanced looks and sudden wealth.

"Hello!" Robin replied, in a cold tone as he looked all around. Mac was seated beside him, with all smiles as he was over the moon over their success.

In his head, he was thinking about what he had to spend on, this time, as he had been rewarded after setting up his company.

He just had two days left.

"Robin, what do you think about making up with Durk? He is being bashed all over." One of the girls asked and Robin frowned.

"What has that got to do with me?" He asked, in a cold tone. His reply was curt as he never thought he needed to make up with Durk. They never had anything in common.

"How about your ex-girlfriend then, will you..." The girl continued to ask but then she was cut off by the sudden noise from the back of the class.

"Robin! Robin! My lover!" Sofia's voice rang out and Robin turned to look behind him, in surprise. Her appearance managed to crack his expression seeing the way she looked like.

"Robin..." She called out again as she rushed toward him, looking disheveled, and in the next second, she fell on her knees and then the whole class gasped, in shock.
