Noticed

The timing seemed off, considering that Azaria had left before them and should have already reached her designated classroom.

Yet, there she was, standing before them, missing her anticipated encounter with Emmett Rutledge.

Justus's mind was filled with confusion, but he chose to keep his thoughts to himself, trailing behind Lilyana as they ascended the stairs.

"Justus, are you interested in that girl just now?" Lilyana couldn't help asking, Justus's gaze on Azaria was too focused, the more focused he was, the more scared Lilyana became.

In the past, Justus had shown outright hostility towards pretty girls, often creating a ruckus with no consequences. Even the parents of his victims had to apologize to him.

Given his history, Lilyana couldn't help but worry for Azaria. After all, being on Justus's radar didn't usually bode well.

Lilyana's reminder also made him realize that his gaze had exposed too much information, Justus lightly laughed, and made a perfunctory explanation, "After all, everyone likes to look at pretty girls."

Lilyana nodded, but immediately felt something was wrong, and looked up to see Justus staring at her.

"Um... I'm not good-looking at all!" Lilyana hurriedly shook her head, Justus had given her too many shadows, Lilyana was too scared.

"You shouldn't always misconstrue my words." Justus heard and was even more speechless. He knew that Lilyana had depression, but these symptoms seemed more like paranoia.

"I didn't think that way." Lilyana backed up a few steps, the fear in her eyes was too apparent.

Justus's goodwill was obviously completely misunderstood. Seeing Lilyana already pale, he could only continue to comfort, "Forget it, let's take it slow, I won't pressure you."

Lilyana's fear intensified, propelling her into a panicked sprint as she desperately sought refuge in the classroom. However, the gravity of the situation struck her like a lightning bolt upon realizing that her assigned seat was right beside Justus's.

Suppressing the urge to retreat, Lilyana's movements became increasingly erratic, resulting in yet another collision with an unsuspecting individual. Instead of stumbling and colliding with the unforgiving edge of a nearby table, a stranger came to her rescue, preventing her from hitting the ground. But this time, it wasn't the familiar and comforting embrace of Justus; it was the presence of a captivating and unknown figure.

Startled, Lilyana lifted her gaze, finding herself engaged in a momentary exchange with this mysterious and handsome stranger. Both cautiously assessed each other, a palpable mix of intrigue and uncertainty filling the air.

Justus, bewildered by the unfolding scenario, remained rooted in place, struggling to comprehend the unfamiliar dynamics at play. The person who now held Lilyana was none other than Raiden Dominguez, Azaria's childhood friend, who had previously come to her aid during Justus's tumultuous past. However, the fact that Raiden was now extending his assistance to Lilyana, someone other than Azaria, added an additional layer of complexity to the situation.

At this moment, the classroom door gently opened, and the late Azaria appeared.

Raiden Dominguez quickly let go of Lilyana and walked towards Azaria. His previous indifference had disappeared and turned into a smile.

For Justus, this Raiden Dominguez was the most annoying among the four male leads.

"Are you alright, Lilyana?" Justus sighed with a sense of helplessness.

"I... I'm fine," Lilyana stammered. She vigorously shook her head, not daring to make any physical contact with him, and clumsily got back on her feet.

The onlookers in the crowd had mixed reactions. They were unsure whether to criticize Lilyana for her recklessness or to condemn Raiden Dominguez for his apparent inability to appreciate women. Lilyana appeared vulnerable, while Raiden carried a reputation as a formidable troublemaker. His influential family background made it challenging for others to stand up for Lilyana.

Justus comprehended the complexity of the situation. He silently observed Lilyana's predicament and offered a helping hand to brush off any dust or debris.

"Justus, I... I can handle it myself," Lilyana choked on her words, teetering on the brink of tears. The sight of her vulnerability only fueled the growing resentment towards Raiden Dominguez among the spectators.

Little did they know that it wasn't Raiden Dominguez whom Lilyana feared the most, but rather the enigmatic Justus. Justus's unpredictability cast a shadow of apprehension over her, leaving her unsure of what he might do next.

Meanwhile, Azaria remained composed and silent, her eyes discreetly observing the unfolding events. Despite the cycle of reincarnations, Azaria remained the same Azaria that Justus knew: intelligent, perceptive, and quick to notice even the slightest inconsistencies. If Justus allowed his emotions to slip even for a moment, it could easily arouse Azaria's suspicions.

Raiden Dominguez continued to explain the situation to Azaria, desperately seeking her understanding. "Azaria, please trust me. There's no relationship between her and me."

Azaria glanced briefly at the frightened Lilyana, her gaze shifting to Raiden Dominguez.

"What does that have to do with me?" Azaria responded, her indifference catching everyone off guard.

Justus was stunned for a moment. He thought Raiden and Azaria must have had a good relationship, but from Azaria's tone, their relationship was not as warm as Justus had previously thought.

During his 68th reincarnation, he noticed many things that he had not noticed before.
