Anger

"Alright, let's go back to our seats." Justus had a smile on his face, even more grateful to Lilyana for the drama he had presented.

Lilyana immediately nodded and walked quickly towards her own seat. Fear was still visible in her eyes, like a rabbit being hunted by a wolf, she was trembling non-stop.

"Fear not, I am by your side," Justus's comforting words only served to intensify Lilyana's trembling. It was Justus himself who instilled this fear within her, making her all the more bewildered by his unexpected gentleness.

Taking a seat beside Lilyana, Justus positioned himself near the open window, allowing the cool breeze to cascade into the classroom. His gaze wandered beyond the academy gate, as he contemplated the events that lay ahead.

The classroom began to fill with students, leaving the outside world eerily quiet and deserted. Soon enough, Azaria returned to her seat, which happened to be directly in front of Justus. Their eyes met, and without hesitation, Azaria extended her hand in a gesture of greeting, acknowledging their acquaintance.

"Hello, my name is Azaria Maddox."

Justus extended his hand, closing the distance between them. Their fingers intertwined, and he couldn't help but be captivated by the delicate elegance of Azaria's slender digits. It was the first time he had ever touched her hand, and conflicting emotions washed over him, leaving him unsure whether to embrace the overwhelming joy or succumb to a bittersweet melancholy.

Taken aback by Justus's unexpected gesture, Azaria contemplated retracting her hand. Yet, she quickly realized that his grip was firm, making it impossible to break free. Confusion clouded her thoughts as their eyes locked, immersing them in a moment of profound uncertainty.

"My name is Justus Wallace," he enunciated each syllable, a genuine warmth in his voice, as he sought to convey his sincerity to Azaria.

A puzzled expression played across Azaria's face as she delved into her memory. There was an undeniable familiarity in Justus's presence, but she couldn't quite place where they might have encountered each other before.

"Have we... met somewhere before?" she inquired, her gaze fixed on Justus, a glimmer of curiosity in her eyes.

Justus, contemplating the intricate threads that connected their lives, allowed a hint of amusement to grace his expression. "We have a history that spans 680 years," he replied, his words carrying a mix of lightheartedness and profound significance.

Azaria, lacking any recollection of their shared past, chuckled at Justus's playful response, unaware of the profound depth and hidden connections that lay beneath their present encounter.

"Maybe it's true, I'm sure I don't know you, but I have a familiar feeling about you. Like we met in somewhere." Azaria laughed, her smile was too dazzling.

Such a sunny and guileless smile, as if it attracted everyone's attention.

If Azaria wasn't the heroine, then who in this world could deserve the name of heroine?

"It seems like our fate from a past life hasn't concluded; that's why it continues in this one," Justus said, retracting his hand. He recalled this line from one of the male leads and found it quite intriguing, prompting him to copy it down. And now he has used it as a simple way to increase his likability towards her. Because if other male protagonists use it effectively, at least it might have some effect for him.

Azaria was stunned by this sentence. This sentence is too ambiguous.

Justus spoke too seriously, Azaria wants to respond, only to see the noise in the classroom stop, she looks up and sees a male teacher appeared in front of the podium.

The man was very handsome, about twenty-five years old, wearing a fitted suit.

"Hello everyone, I am Freddy Drebin. Starting today, I will be your senior class teacher." The man introduced himself.

The students were all talking about Freddy Drebin, even Lilyana next to him was very excited. No one expected that the teacher of their class would be so young and handsome.

The only people who weren't excited were Azaria and Justus. Azaria even lowered her head, unwilling to look at Freddy Drebin. As for Justus, seeing Freddy Drebin's face too many times made him almost nauseous.

He mentally commanded 'check Freddy Drebin's information', and a panel appeared in front of him.

Name: Freddy Drebin.

Profession: Police officer.

Personality: Strong sense of justice

Background: Born into a family of police, recently came to Paradise Academy to go undercover due to a case.

Affinity towards Justus: 0

Affinity towards Azaria: 50

Justus was taken aback as he perused the information. It seemed like they had just begun, yet Freddy Drebin already held a significant level of admiration for Azaria.

No wonder all his previous attempts to sow discord between them had been in vain.

Azaria's presence as the central protagonist emanated an undeniable power, making Justus wary of provoking someone with such a formidable "automatic affinity generation system" like hers.

Regrettably, he was still unable to access the character information of the main heroine, leaving him at a disadvantage.

Justus sighed and glanced casually at the other data in the class. But he suddenly found that Azaria, who was initially set to be unviewable, seemed to be available for viewing.

Justus muttered in his heart, and instantly, a red icon that looked like a lock appeared. The red lock jiggled a few times, then broke apart, and Azaria's information appeared in front of Justus.

Name: Azaria Maddox.

Profession: Student.

Personality: Gentle and kind, tough and unyielding.

Story background: Staying with relatives, recently troubled by a matter.

Affinity towards Justus: -10

Affinity towards Lilyana: 10

Justus was even more speechless. He had been actively trying to gain affection with Azaria just now, but Lilyana, who had done nothing, had an affection score of 10. Despite Justus's words and deliberate acts of kindness, Azaria's affection towards him remained negative.

Could it be that the main character and the villain couldn't achieve a mutually beneficial outcome? The more Justus pondered, the more frustrated he became.

After some promising developments, everything had once again come to a standstill. "Everyone, please proceed to the assembly hall," Freddy Drebin's voice echoed.

When he finished speaking, for some reason, Justus's affection with Freddy Drebin plummeted to -10, while Freddy Drebin's affinity towards Azaria skyrocketed to 60, igniting Justus's anger.
