Henry left the hotel at precisely 7:30 am the following day. He has already written down the places he will visit today and the things he will buy first.
"Good morning," the stewardess greeted him.
He stared at the tray in her hands. He was sure it was his breakfast, but he gave her a sign to leave with it.
Henry walked straight to a boutique to get some clothes. It was a very expensive one. One of the most popular boutiques in the city. It was believed that celebrities also shopped there.
Henry didn't think twice before going there because he thought the wealth system was always with him and made him confident. He also had the rule in mind: to spend at least a million dollars that day.
"What would you like?" The sales girl asked Henry as he walked in.
"I would like a corporate suit." Henry replied.
"Okay, follow me." The sales girl said.
Henry walked directly behind her. He picked a couple of clothes and paid for the things he bought.
"A total of two million dollars." The receptionist said.
"Okay then," Henry replied as he paid with his fingerprint.
"Thanks for your patronage. We will love to meet you next time." The receptionist waved at Henry.
Henry didn't reply to him. He thought that was very unnecessary. He dropped the things he bought to visit where cars are sold.
He took a taxi to the location.
"I would like this one." Henry said, pointing at the limited SUV edition car.
"That costs about a hundred million dollars! I don't think you can afford it." Clinton, the guy who sold the company's car, laughed.
"What makes you think so?" Henry smirked.
"C'mon, are you not the Henry I know very well from ten years ago? When we were in college? I'm still wondering why you suddenly disappeared. Everyone thought you were dead. We even had to mourn your death in school!" He chuckled.
"You had to mourn my death?!" Henry asked, widening his eyes.
"It's a long story. So, I'll leave it for next time. I guess Jack and the rest of your family would know more about that." Clinton heaved a vast sigh, closing the car with the black trampoline.
Jack was Henry's stepbrother. The eldest in the family. None of Henry's siblings hate him the way Jack hates him.
To Jack, Henry was a threat to his existence, and there was a massive probability that Jack was behind the mourning of Henry's death in the school.
I'm still waiting to hear more about what happened ten years ago. Henry sighed.
"I'll pay for the car!"
"You'll pay what? A hundred million dollars?! please we are not in the month of April." Clinton laughed.
"I'll double the money!"
Clinton widened his eyes as he heard this. He was more than shocked.
"You'll double what?! You'll double a hundred million dollars?"
"I didn't come here to joke around." Henry smirked.
Clinton was stunned. They walked into the office, where Henry paid for the car. He indeed doubled the amount of money.
The CEO of the company requested to meet Henry anytime soon. He thought Henry might love to invest in their company.
"Thank you. We will love to meet you some other time. Thank you!" The CEO said as they shook hands.
Clinton was speechless as they walked out of the company. He was beyond surprised.
"The poor delivery guy in the school woke up after ten years and became a billionaire! That could only happen in movies!" He thought.
"The keys." Henry demanded as they approached the car.
Clinton took a deep breath. He wanted to ask for forgiveness. He was one of the people who bullied Henry in high school and also helped manipulate Henry's medical results to announce to the school that he was dead.
"I'm truly sorry for hurting you in high school. I really want to ask for your forgiveness. I never wanted to beat you up. Jack forced me into doing it." Clinton pleaded.
Henry chuckled softly as he shook his head. This was just the beginning; they'll soon be on their knees.
"Can I have my car key, please?" Henry asked.
Clinton sighed; he knew that Henry couldn't forgive him so easily.
Clinton handed the keys to him.
Henry smirked as he entered his brand-new car. This was a new beginning. He decided to buy a house next.
The company owned the house he wanted to buy in competition with his family's company.
He needed an expensive house because he would like to take his sister away from evil people.
He proceeded to buy a house in Houston's villa. One of the most expensive places to buy a house. His house costs about five hundred million dollars.
It was costly and had already been furnished.
Everything was ready.
He was finally meeting his evil step-family after ten years. Everyone who wanted him dead will be shocked to realize he was healthy and wealthy!
He drove to Cavil's Villa. He parked his car in the garage. He was surprised to see no security guard around.
"Maybe they can no longer afford a guard," He laughed.
He walked out of his car. He stared at the Mansion. The Mansion had a lot of stories to tell about him, where he was treated like a slave and an outcast in his own family.
"Home sweet home." He sighed, walking into the house.
Everywhere was silent when he entered. He wondered if there were no maids in the house. He couldn't glimpse his sister, who was always seated on the couch.
He heard some footsteps approaching. He turned to see the maid walking down the stairs.
The maid shouted immediately after she saw Henry.
"Ghost!" She kept shouting.
"Ghost?"
Henry stared at the maid as she shouted.
"Ghost? Did you see a ghost somewhere around here?" Henry asked.
The maid continued screaming.
"Mrs. Cavil said you're the dead and your body is yet to be incramated. So, what are you doing here?" The maid trembled in fear.
Henry chuckled softly.
"Well, I am not dead and I would like you to believe that. I woke up after ten years."
"You woke up?" The maid asked, walking down the stairs.
"Yeah and from your face I can truly tell that you didn't believe your madam at first. Why will I be dead? I know very well that everyone wants me dead but I can't die so easily." Henry laughed.
"At least, when I'm yet to get my revenge…" Henry muttered.
"Revenge?" The maid asked.
"Well, that's none of your business. I really need to know where they all were, especially my sister; Doreen. I really need to meet her." Henry replied.
At the mention of Doreen, the expression on the maid's face changed immediately. She knew what happened to Doreen after Henry's incident, but she wouldn't like Henry to hear it from her.
"Is there any problem? When did you move in here? Don't you know Doreen? My little sister?!" Henry asked eagerly.
The maid sighed before replying.
"I moved in a few weeks after you were in the hospital but I don't know much about Doreen, I only met her once but I'm pretty sure she's okay." The maid lied.
"Then where could she be? She's the only person I have left!" Henry said sadly.
"Maybe she has been sent to the state. Eucharia also left the country a few weeks after I arrived here. Maybe she left with Doreen." The maid replied, avoiding Henry's eyes.
She can't lie to him while staring at his eyes.
Eucharia was the last child in the family. She was eighteen before the incident. She was the same age as Doreen, but Doreen was a few weeks older than her.
"I see. They would do anything possible to keep her out of sight anyway. So, where are the rest of the family? Aren't they home? I can't seem to get a feel of their presence." Henry asked.
"They went for a party, it's not really a party anyway but Jack is celebrating his ten years wedding anniversary." The maid replied.
"Wow. He married after my rumoured death? To whom, if I may ask?" Henry asked.
Another question the maid wishes she could avoid, but she can't. This time around, she had to tell him the truth.
"To Evelyn. They got married a few weeks after your accident." The maid replied.
"Wait…what? Evelyn married Jack?! She left Max?" Henry laughed.
Henry wanted Evelyn to stay. She could date as many men as she wanted because Henry had learned his lessons. He no longer had any interest in Evelyn. He only wanted to teach Max a lesson!
He can't just betray him and go freely.
"What a plot twist!" Henry laughed.
"That is not actually the main issue. I think Evelyn married Jack for Business purposes. The two families actually accepted their marriage quickly. It was as if they were waiting for your death!"
"My Death?"
"Ohh, sorry. Your accident." The maid chuckled.
"Then what did Max do? I know very well he has anger issues and won't just sit back and watch Evelyn getting married to Jack."
"Max, he was truly furious and mad at Evelyn but I think Mrs. Cavil settled him with some amount of money. Everyone knows that he never loved Evelyn. He was after her money, and Max is currently in jail." The maid replied.
"In jail?! What did he commit?!" Henry shouted.
The maid got back to her senses. Revealing that Max was in jail will ruin the lie she told earlier about Doreen.
"I-I don't know what he did!" She stuttered.
Henry heaved a sigh.
Although he disliked Max, he didn't like the fact that he was in jail. Max was known to be a notorious drug dealer but couldn't be caught so easily. Someone must have trapped him.
"How many years imprisonment?" Henry asked.
"I heard it is a life imprisonment. Maybe he murdered Someone." The maid shrugged.
"Murdered Someone? Max can't even kill a rat!" Henry exclaimed.
"Everyone was surprised like you. Even I myself couldn't believe it." The maid replied.
The maid kept twisting her words, but Henry couldn't notice it. He just believed anything she said.
"Where is the location of their anniversary?" Henry demanded.
"Do you want to go there? Don't dare!" The maid shouted.
"You don't tell me what to do!" Henry glared at her.
"Cavil's hotel, The family's hotel but please don't cause a huge scene. Everyone thinks you're dead and yet to be incriminated," The maid pleaded.
Henry ignored her and walked out of the house. He quickly entered his car and drove to the location. He didn't care about anything anyone thought.
It was already 9:30 pm in the night, and the event had started already.
The ladies were seen dancing and celebrating the couple. Their wedding anniversary was indeed a special one.
The event was mainly for the country's wealthy and top people.
"Happy married life and many more years!" The attendees wished the couple.
Evelyn stood beside Jack, their arms locked together, smiling at the people present. Still, everyone could tell that they were not a married couple. Their smiles looked fake!
Henry walked into the hall. Everyone seemed to be rejoicing, and no one noticed his entrance.
He walked straight to the podium. Everyone turned to him. He wore a black hat; they couldn't see his face.
"Who is he? And why is he picking up the mic?!" Jack asked Evelyn.
Evelyn shrugged. They all stared at Henry but couldn't recognize him.
"Happy married life Evelyn!" Henry said as he removed his hat.
Evelyn widened her eyes as she made eye contact with Henry.
"What? He's still alive? I thought he's dead?! A ghost at their anniversary?" The crowd murmured.
Henry's presence in their anniversary celebration had started trending online as everyone finally recognized him as a member of the Cavil family.
"I hate you and you will regret doing this! Henry, you shall die soon like your sister!"
Evelyn covered Jack’s mouth with her hands as he said that.“Why should you let him know about that?” Evelyn asked in a hush voice.Henry was confused. He stared at them while the people present at the event kept taking pictures of them.Henry can’t fathom what he just heard.“My sister is dead? What do you mean by that?!” Henry roared.“Oh my God! Are they about to fight?!” The crowd murmured as the flashlight from their phone’s kept increasing.Jack pushed Evelyn aside.“Yes, your sister is dead! What would you do about that? You’re nothing but a poor brat! Go back to where you belong! I wish you died ten years ago!” Jack shouted.Henry scoffed. He kept laughing loudly as tears rushed down his cheeks.“You mean my sister is dead? We are not in April. Okay? If she’s truly dead, I swear I’ll kill you!” Henry gritted his teeth as he glared at him.Jack laughed.“What will you do? Hit me? You think I’m the one who killed her? If I wanted to kill her I would’ve done that when she was sti
They couldn’t believe what Henry just said.“You bought the company? What a joke! I was there yesterday!” Jerry shouted.“You were there yesterday doesn't mean anything. I was also there this afternoon. I was called at the last minute. They offered me to be the CEO of their company and I sent the money to them as soon as possible.” Henry explained.“You gotta be joking! That’s impossible. You make it sound easy and we all know very well that such a thing doesn’t happen! I know very well that you’re hallucinating!” Jack shouted.“Do you want to know the amount?I really didn’t want to brag about this but you guys are leaving me with no choice other than that. I actually bought the company for 1 trillion dollars!”“One trillion?” They all shouted.Mrs. Cavill still refused to believe him.“You must have scammed them! You are nothing but a delivery guy and that is what you will forever remain!” She gritted her teeth.“I have no business with you, Mrs. Murderer. We’ll meet in your first tr
"Yes, Doreen isn't dead like your stepmother and everyone claimed. Yes, they brought a corpse and buried her but it was all a ploy masterminded by Doreen. She knew you weren't dead like Mrs Cavil claimed." Max laughed, rubbing his hands.Henry couldn't believe what Max revealed. Doreen masterminded her death? That wasn't the sister he knew."Spill everything, Matt. Where's my little sis now?""I don't know, Henry. She would reveal herself when she was ready. You didn't ask how we ended up together. Don't you want to know?" Matt smirked, tapping his fingers on the table.Henry sighed inwardly. His sister was alive, that was a good thing but where was she?""How did you end up with Doreen? You were like a big bro to her and I thought you were going to marry Evelyne after everything you did ten years ago. What happened?"Matt let out a dry laugh, "Mrs Cavil happened, Henry. She claimed Evelyne's family owed her a lot of money and the contract marriage was the payment. I fought hard but
"Hello, Mr Louis Pedro. This is Henry Cavill, yes, the delivery guy," Henry said, watching the emergency door. No one had stepped out since."What? Henry Cavil? Your stepmom did a funeral for you ten years ago, and then I saw the news about Henry Cavil being the CEO of Hundeyin. It was a lot of information to process and now, you are here talking to me. It's unbelievable!"Henry chuckled, watching the emergency door again, "I'm alive, Mr Louis. I want to employ your services and it must be private. I don't want anyone to know about it, okay?""You need some digging into your stepmother's dealings and Doreen's sudden death, right?""Woah! How did you know that's what I need right now?"Mr Louis chuckled, "You have forgotten news flies faster and I'm a smart detective. I have been doing a little digging ever since you resurfaced, Henry."Henry mulled over what he said. Mr Louis was a smart one and if he wanted to get who attacked him and what happened to Doreen, he had to trust the man.
Jake was dealing with drugs and the underworld bosses who were his suppliers. Henry had videos of him selling hard drugs and distributing them. He picked one and sent it to a media company, laughing hard.Tomorrow, the world would know who Jake Cavil was and what his step-family was into and he would be there to watch the disaster. He wondered about the wealth system that helped him out and again thanked his stars. A mail popped up and reading it, he realized it was from the doctor briefing him about Mike's health. According to him, there was no complication for the night and Mike was stable. Henry sent a quick thank you and closed his laptop. The next thing on his mind was to get security guards and become the CEO of Bive Airlines, a company his stepbrother had been eyeing for years now. He drafted a plan, writing the pros and cons and fell into a deep slumber. ***Henry drove out of the estate, stopping by an eatery to get some pancakes for Mike
"Henry, are you watching it now?" Mr Louis' voice brought him back from his thoughts."Yeah, Did Bive Airlines just pull their stakes from their company?" Henry asked, surprised at the news he was just reading. He was already planning on buying the company and now, they pulled out their stakes. It made the plan easier."Yes, are you planning on buying them? I think you should go for it. Bive Airlines is top-notch in the city, Henry. It would be a good investment and oh boy, a way to get back at your step-siblings."Henry laughed, "I'm doing that now. Any information on what I asked you about?" "Yeah, I think your stepmother isn't as innocent as she claimed to be. She was the one who orchestrated the accident that killed your mother. I have witnesses who are ready to stand in court and testify or do you want them to wait?"Henry's facial expression changed immediately, "I knew it was her all along. Let them wait, I will make her pay in my way. Thanks for calling."He ended the call an
Do you think I take in worthless garbage? Now, get out. I have work to do," Henry replied, pulling her up, then pushing her out.But she stood her ground, breathing hard, "Tell me, one thing, Henry, did you post that video?"Henry chuckled, then held her roughly, "Don't you come in here and ask senseless questions. Out you go, Evelyne and don't return here!""Henry!!!!" she screamed as he slammed the door immediately. It was too late. Ten years too late and this was just the beginning of what she would encounter. He was going to show her what he was capable of doing. Now that he had Bive Airlines, it was time for his next plan. ***Morning came slowly, the sunlight penetrating through the window blinds. Henry rose, checking his phone for updates on Jakes. The police had sealed three of his warehouses and they were bleeding money. Jerry was in custody too. They found some incriminating evidence about him.Henry chuckled, this
"You must be very stupid for implying I could commit such a crime. I'm not ruthless or wicked, Henry!" she replied harshly, ignoring him."You aren't ruthless but my nephew became dumb in your hands. Care to tell us how that happened?" Henry asked, smiling coldly at her."You can't put that child's disability on me, fool! I did nothing to him and this blacklist isn't about him. So, don't bring the deaf and dumb boy into this conversation," she grinned, happy to hit him where he wasn't expecting.Henry glared at her coldly, "His name is Mike and you will do well to remember that! I know you will feign ignorance on what happened to him but it's you, after all. This situation, however, if it turns out to be true, I will be glad to let the police officers do their job.""They won't find anything there. You are just an empty basket, trying to ruin us but don't worry, we will get back at you soon." Mrs Cavil yelled again."Henry, whatever you are planning on doing, don't do it. Remember, we
