My Company!

Evelyn covered Jack’s mouth with her hands as he said that.

“Why should you let him know about that?” Evelyn asked in a hush voice.

Henry was confused. He stared at them while the people present at the event kept taking pictures of them.

Henry can’t fathom what he just heard.

“My sister is dead? What do you mean by that?!” Henry roared.

“Oh my God! Are they about to fight?!” The crowd murmured as the flashlight from their phone’s kept increasing.

Jack pushed Evelyn aside.

“Yes, your sister is dead! What would you do about that? You’re nothing but a poor brat! Go back to where you belong! I wish you died ten years ago!” Jack shouted.

Henry scoffed. He kept laughing loudly as tears rushed down his cheeks.

“You mean my sister is dead? We are not in April. Okay? If she’s truly dead, I swear I’ll kill you!” Henry gritted his teeth as he glared at him.

Jack laughed.

“What will you do? Hit me? You think I’m the one who killed her? If I wanted to kill her I would’ve done that when she was still a kid.” Jack glared at Henry.

Evelyn cleaned her gown as she stood up from the floor. She walked close to Henry while holding the torn part of her gown.

As she walked close to him, she stared at his eyes filled with tears. She placed her palm on his cheeks to confirm if he’s truly Henry.

Henry breathed heavily as he stared at her. He felt her hands on his cheeks. It really brought back old memories from when they were still together. They would always touch each other’s cheek’s and hold hands together while walking down the field.

Tears rolled down Evelyn’s cheeks as she held his cheeks. For the first time, she regretted what she did ten years ago. She wished she never cheated on him and chased him out of her house. She felt sorry for herself because she couldn't believe that “Wealth” was what made them break up.

Jack seriously wasn’t happy with the way they were interacting. He glanced at the crowd who were busy taking pictures of Evelyn and Henry’s interaction.

He heaved a deep sigh.

“Ahhh!!” Evelyn groaned as Jack held her by the arms. He flung her aside and she fell for the second time.

“Where is my sister?” Henry shouted.

“Are you asking me? I don’t fucking care about Doreen! I have no business with her and what would interest you more?” Jack laughed.

Henry stared at him waiting for the perfect time to slap him.

“Doreen has a son! She probably left him for you before her death…

Henry’s eyes widened in surprise. Doreen never had a boyfriend ten years back. How was it possible she had a son before her death?

“The Father is still unknown to us but I guess we’ll find out more about that soon.” Jack laughed.

Henry felt his head ache. He held his forehead slowly. Everything that was happening felt like a movie. He suddenly remembered the maid’s words.

“Did the maid lie to me?” Henry muttered.

“Do you see it? Your mother and sister have something in common, giving birth outside marriage just like how you are an illegi…”

Before Jack could complete what he was saying, Henry raised his hands and interrupted him with a slap on his cheeks.

“Oh my god! They’re fighting!! Take pictures!!” A lady who dressed like a journalist said. Looks like she was talking to her team.

Jack placed his hands on the side of his face Henry slapped. Blood suddenly gushed down his nostrils.

The crowd screamed more as they saw the blood.

“Is he intending to kill him?!”

Jack stared at Henry. He smirked slowly.

“Everyone leave!” Mrs. Cavl shouted as she walked into the hall.

The security guards helped in evacuating the attendee’s.

Some of them didn’t want to leave as they still wanted more pictures.

“Leave!!” Jerry shouted as he walked behind Mrs. Cavil.

Jerry was Jack’s younger brother.

Mrs. Cavil paused as she saw Henry. She felt her heartbeat increase, her hands trembled in fear at the sight of Henry. She felt too uneasy. She really had a lot of things to explain to Henry considering the fact that she started the hate train first.

“He’s still alive? I thought he would be cremated soon! That Doctor really kept him alive just to cause a huge havoc!” Jerry gritted his teeth.

Mrs. Cavil walked slowly towards Henry.

“Why are you still alive? You should be in the grave with your evil sister! You annoying brat!” Mrs. Cavil frowned.

Henry heaved a deep sigh.

“Brother, are you okay?” Jerry asked, running towards Jack.

“Yeah, I am.” Jack replied, collecting the handkerchief from Jerry to clean the blood rushing down his nostrils.

“I don’t know what everyone of you is saying but I hope the story about my sister being dead is a joke because I would make sure that everyone of you is lynched!” Henry shouted.

Mrs. Cavil chuckled slowly.

“What makes you think we killed your sister? That brat brought it upon herself. The most annoying part is the fact that she left another Bastard for us!” Mrs. Cavil shouted pointing at the little boy sitting at the edge of a seat.

Henry glanced at the direction of the little boy. He was dark in complexion and also had curly hair. His face looked exactly like that of Doreen. Henry knew for sure that the child belonged to Doreen.

The little boy stared at Henry. He looked very unkempt with torn clothes and bruises all over his body. Henry knew for sure who was behind all those scars and bruises.

He finally accepted the fact that his sister was dead. He shook his head in disappointment. The only hope in humanity was gone. Everything he did was for his sister.

Accepting the wealth system is for the purpose of his sister. He truly wanted to end everyone who hurt his sister and him. Suddenly, she was gone. Her suffering was all for nothing!

“Who killed my sister?” Henry asked gently as he turned to them.

Mrs. Cavil laughed loudly.

“Who else if not your best friend, Max.”

“Max killed my sister?”

Henry couldn't believe his ears.

“Why would Max kill my sister?” Henry thought.

Max used to treat Doreen like his own sister. He would always buy goodies for her and beat anyone who tried to bully her in school.

Doreen always called Max “Big Bro”. It was impossible for Max to be the one behind her death.

“You don't need to worry too much. She has been cremated and I can take you to her grave. You can go there and weep for her.” Mrs. Cavil laughed.

The rest joined in laughing too.

Henry stared at the little boy again.

“What did my mother do to you to deserve all this wickedness?” Henry shouted.

Mrs. Cavil smirked.

“She did so many things to me. Or maybe she didn't. She brought an illegitimate set of children to my home. How will I accept that? She's a cheat and a home wrecker! She doesn't deserve to live and I'm glad she's dead!” Mrs. Cavil smirked.

“Mother, Don't say such a thing! How can you derive happiness from someone's death?” Evelyn said, staring at Mrs. Cavil.

Mrs. Cavil sneered at her.

“Oh, your little lover is back. So, I get why you're acting this way. You miss him right?! Don't worry, the contract will soon expire. You need to pray harder so your parents won't renew it!” Mrs. Cavil smirked.

Evelyn bent her head in shame.

She was forced to marry Jack so she can help her family's company from debt. Her family's company was on the brink of failing when Mrs. Cavil offered to help them by forcing her to marry Jack under a contract.

“You don't want to say another word?!” Mrs. Cavil laughed.

Henry stared at Evelyn as she cried silently. He pitied her but will never help her out. He had made up his mind that he had nothing to do with her since she cheated on him with his best friend.

Jack walked close to Henry. He touched his clothes and sniffed them.

“You look expensive, where did you get these clothes and those shoes are limited ones. Where did you get the money? Don't tell me you stole from somewhere!” Jack laughed.

“Not everyone is like you!” Henry glared at him.

“Don’t worry, I understand. You borrowed them for a show off here right?! ” Henry continued mocking him.

“Don’t lie to us, you couldn't even afford a textbook in school. You were just a delivery guy. Then all of a sudden after ten years, you're here dressed like a CEO! Life is not a movie. Okay?” Jerry laughed.

Mrs. Cavil walked close to Henry. She glanced at his clothes for a few seconds.

“Where did you get these? A limited iphone?” Mrs. Cavil asked as he stared at his pocket.

Henry smirked.

“I guess you didn't see the car keys” Henry laughed, raising his car keys.

They all stared at his hands in surprise. Evelyn couldn't believe her eyes.

“You own a car?!” Evelyn asked.

Henry heaved a deep sigh before walking round the hall.

“You killed my mother first, bullied me and also tried to kill and then eventually killed my only sister and now you're trying to do the same to my nephew. Do you think you deserve to live?” Henry asked, walking close to Mrs. Cavil.

Mrs. Cavil glared at him, “You think I killed your mother and sister? I don't have such time. Karma truly caught up with your mother and I guess she's in hell now. For your sister, I never had anything to do with her. Her death was sudden. No one knows how she truly dies but Max was a suspect and ended up being the one who killed her. How do you think I'm the one behind all these?” Mrs. Cavil shrugged.

“There are many reasons why you're a suspect. Remember I saw you throwing someone down the roof!”

Mrs. Cavil widened her eyes as she heard this. Her hands trembled in fear.

“Mum, you threw someone down a roof?!” Jerry and Evelyn asked in unison.

Jack walked towards them, “Henry, enough of your false accusations against my mother! I can sue you for this!” Jack shouted.

Henry chuckled softly, “Why should you sue me? You should be the one in jail for drugs now. You have embezzled public funds and also turned Father's company into one that distributes hard drugs. What else can't you do?” Henry said.

Jack slapped him immediately, “How dare you say that?!”

Henry laughed as he held his face. Blood slowly rushed down his nose.

“This is just the beginning, you all will regret ever killing my mother!” Henry shouted.

“What can you do? You're a poor brat who can't afford anything! I hope you can afford your hospital bills too!” Mrs. Cavil retorted.

Henry smiled, “Maybe you haven't heard from the Doctor. You'll hear from him in a few minutes.”

Mrs. Cavil’s phone suddenly rang. It was strange because it came at the right time.

They all started to answer the call.

“Hey, why are you calling me? Mr.” Mrs. Cavil shouted.

“I forgot to tell you yesterday, Henry paid off his bills and even doubled the payment for me. This is really the best year of my life! My honesty paid off!”

“Henry doubled the hospital bills?!” Mrs. Cavil shouted.

“He doubled the payment?!” They all shouted in surprise.

Henry smiled as he heard this.

“Yes, of course! He’s more than a billionaire now!” The doctor shouted.

Mrs. Cavil ended the call.

“What are you up to? I will make sure you don't get a single share from the company. So, don't bother yourself!” Mrs. Cavil shouted.

Henry brought out a complementary card from his pocket.

“Meet the latest CEO of Hundeyin.” Henry smiled, handing the card to Mrs. Cavil.

“Hundeyin? The car company?” Jack asked.

“You think you can lie to us? Clinton works there and I know the CEO very well!” Jerry laughed.

Henry smirked, “I guess Clinton hasn't told you that I bought the company.”

“You bought the company?”
