Episode 67: Bigger problem

The only safe place Alex has found is beginning to be strange to him but there is nothing he could do about it. The horse is still above them in the sitting room, Alex does not have a weapon neither does he have any power.

Although Alex’s host is just an old man, But Alex has learnt never to overlook or underrate anyone since after the infernal rain. The powers a man could have gotten is just not predictable.

A little bit later, the old man walked to one of the corners of the basement. He pulled his pants down and sat on a bucket. The sound and smell that followed is the perfect explanation that Alex needed to know what the old man was doing.

When the old man was done, he pulled back his pants and then he whispered to Alex that it’s time to kill the horse so that they can empty the bucket outside to stop the smell.

As Alex got up on his feet to help with killing the horse, he sighted a garden fork on the ground, inside of a long basket.
