The call shook him greatly and he raced home like a mad man, momentarily forgetting that he was supposed to be mad at her for all she had done. His compassionate side took over, the tone in her voice was so thin and frail that it kept playing in his head even as he went home.

Although she had cheated on him, as he knew more than once and even with more than one man, he still cared about her. Of course, he still had revenge on his mind, but this wasn't how he planned to do it.

He got to the house and parked the car haphazardly then ran into the house. She wasn't in the living room or anywhere downstairs.

"Aria!" He called, but there was no response.

Then he ran up the stairs and threw the bedroom door open. The room was awkwardly dim for this time of the day, she had closed the curtains and only a pale blue light shone in the room.

"Aria?" He called again, he made out an outline of someone on the bed, it had to be here lying there in that manner.
