His wife stared at him for a while still figuring out what to say and was in absolute shock staring at her skirt as though it had brought some sort of memory, his lips were trembling as though she was talking but in fact, she wasn't at all saying anything. Chris gazed at her as if confirming his hunch was right all along, his chest felt tight like he was about to suffocate in pain.
"This can't be true right?" He thought to himself shifting his gaze on one knee, it was as though everything was moving quote slowly and he hated every second he gazed at her and she hadn't said a word yet.
Aria let out a sigh to calm herself before clicking her thumb as she quickly did. "Now I remember." She chimed gazing at him. He tilted his head waiting for her to be more detailed about what she meant.
"I had worn this skirt for a show to dance then washed it and hung it on the balcony but then I couldn't find it when I went to retrieve it later." She explained. "I thought it had been blown by the wind and searched around and didn't find it, I figured someone was trying to get at me and didn't care about it anymore."
"Oh really?" He tilted his head to the side and continued to gaze at her trying so hard not to glare at her.
"How did you get it?" She asked looking up at him with a confident smile as though she hadn't looked nervous initially, She leaned her back on her pillow leaning her back as she gazed intently at him.
"Is there any other thing of yours that could be missing?" He asked her while thinking of the socks still in his pocket.
"Not that I can think of…. No." She answered shrugging her shoulders while wriggling her fingers.
"What did you end up wearing for the show?" He inquired, still suspicious and not convinced enough with her previous explanations.
"I didn't go anymore, I lost total interest in it after the skirt was gone." She quickly said without thinking much, he brushed his hair back with his hand
"A package was sent and this skirt was in it." He told her and she gasped in shock.
"What? Could someone be framing me?" She asked her husband who stared at her blankly as though she knew the whole truth and was trying to hide it. "Believe me, baby, you know quite well that I can't lie to you, it was stolen ." She tried convincing him but the look on his face said otherwise.
"How could I possibly believe that? You didn't mention it to me at any time that you had lost your clothes."
*I didn't want to bother you over an ordinary skirt when I could just get another." She shrugged making a point but that wasn't enough to make him believe her words.
"Hmmmm." He hummed.
"I'm quite sure a pervert had stolen the skirt and sent it to you to create a problem between us," Aria said which sounded somewhat right to Chris but he wasn't going to believe her words that easily. "Don't tell me you think I'm cheating." She burst out laughing at him and knelt on the bed staring at him charmingly.
"I only wanted to know the truth, I was curious to find out why your skirt had been sent by an unknown address but hearing your explanation put me at ease."
"Great! I'm so happy you don't have a different notion of me, you know quite well I'm not going to do anything bad in our relationship." She hugged him by the waist staring at him with puppy eyes that he always fell victim to. Chris sat on the bed sighing and she took that as a queue that he believed her words, she stood up from the bed and took out her broken phone from her bag, and showed it to him. He stared at her with a puzzled expression on his face.
"What's this for?" He asked staring at her dazzled, The last thing he expected was for her to show it to him but he figured it was a way of her trying to get her way around.
"My broken phone, it's am evidence to show that I'm not lying to you." She shrugged, pouting her lips as if trying to make him feel bad.
"Oh, that's fine I believe what you're saying, darling." He replied to her although feeling one-sided by his answer, he opened his hands for her to come hug him and held her close to himself feeling the warmth of her body. She turned over and turned off the light leaving only the dim lamp that gave the room a nice aesthetic, she wrapped herself in his arms again as he wondered underneath her pajamas feeling her warm silky soft, and delicate skin that was enough to drive any man crazy, he placed a soft kiss on her neck moaning escape her lips, he gasped when he felt his dick harden and bit his lips shutting his eyes.
"Look who is horny." His wife teased trailing kisses down his neck, his body felt crazier from her touch and he was trying hard to keep a straight face. "But I'm too tired to do anything today." She added and rolled over so that her back was facing him, he wanted to oppose but changed his mind as he was no longer in the mood, he bit his lower lip staring up at the ceiling quietly staying at it with questions roaming in his hand.
"Good night." He whispered in her ear with his wrapped around her waist. He suddenly had a thought that spoiled his entire mood. Could she have been lying in another man's hand? He abruptly felt uncomfortable and disgusted by the idea of it. How could he possibly look at her like he did before?
"On second thought." His wife turned to look at him smiling mischievously. "Let's do it because I miss you." She placed a kiss on his lips, he was taken back at first but turned on right in the moment. He trailed wet kisses on her neck but she quickly stopped him."Wait." He stared down at her wondering why she wanted him to stop. "Turn off the light." She implored him not to think too much of it and stood up from the bed turning the lights off leaving only the dim bedside lamps so he could at least see his way around the room. He slowly took off her pajamas and placed wet kisses on her body, Every touch was sensational on her skin and she felt so good. She shut her eyes, falling asleep exhausted by their activities earlier. Chris stood from the bed turned the light and went back to the bed to see his wife's beautiful face, She looked like a perfect and flawless creature fallen from heaven. He noticed that she had put on her pajamas again and wondered why since she always felt unusual
"Are you implying that I lied to you?" She rolled her eyes at him seeming annoyed but he didn't say anything to her so she continued. "We were all divided into three groups, robbers, policemen, and hostages, The hostages were tied by the wrist, and although I was chosen to be one of the robbers, a colleague of mine Tracy complained about switching places with me and I did." She shrugged, pouting her lips as she stared at her wrists with a frown."I didn't expect it to be too tight that would cause my wrist to redden, that's why I wore the long-sleeved pajamas knowing you were going to be annoyed when you saw me hurt." She pouted her lips staring at him with angel eyes but Chris didn't look as though he believed a single word she had just said and she noticed that. "If you don't believe me then I can call her in front of you." Chris was still silent and finding a fault in whatever lies she just spoke but nothing came to mind, it was so perfectly planned that he could not question it,
Chris dialed the number that had just texted him but it was switched off which angered him, How could anyone sprout such nonsense and be scared to talk afterward?Just then someone called his phone and saw it was his assistant at his company, he immediately answered the call placing the phone on his ear."Good morning sir." His assistant Marcus greeted. "There's a situation." He sounded distressed and Chris knew instantly that something was wrong."What do you mean there's a situation?" Chris questioned making his way back to his car."Well there is a large painting on the company building with the word shame," Marcus explained, Chris paused for a second wondering if it was the person that had a person that had texted him initially, he couldn't think of another person who would do such a thing."Well do so things about it before it causes any issues, Also have you been able to find out the culprit?""No one has been brought forward yet but I'm on it, sir.""Good, I'll be on my way the
"Spit it out, what's wrong." Chris urged him as he wondered what he wanted to say that was so hard to spit out. He was having a bad day already and the suspense wasn't at all helping matters, he gently tapped his fingers on the table."I came to town a few days back and stayed in Lenora Hotel but something caught my attention." Brian began to say after so much hesitation."What is that?" Chris asked, getting tired of the suspense Brian was giving him. He leaned back in his chair "Not to say that she's cheating on you but it's just something I observed and wanted to be sure.""What do you mean?" Chris furrowed his brows"I couldn't see them quite well but I know your wife when I see her…. The man was about the same height as you if not taller and he had tattoos on his hand, I couldn't see his face." Brian explained. "When they were about to leave he called her name.""How sure are you that it was my wife you saw?" Chris asked."He called her Ari." Chris was dumbstruck trying to proces
Brian and Chris both arrived at the hotel and casually walked in but before they got to the reception, Chris told Brian how to go about requesting for the CCTV footage for it to be easier for them."I'm sorry but I cannot allow you access to that sir." The receptionist said plainly and casually resumed her work. She liked white young and beautiful yet charismatic, Brian who is known to be a player wasn't in the mood to pull anything off as the situation was a matter of emergency, that could either break a marriage or clear doubts in the air."What nonsense is this? Do you have any idea how much that Rolex watch costs?" Brian snapped at her angrily but still, she wasn't shaken by those words."I cannot let you sir, please understand." She told him. "Could you tell me your name so I could search from our records if you had booked our hotel, From there I can take you back to the room you stayed in and do a thorough search.""Brian Owens." He told her adjusting his sunglasses as he looked
Chris squinted his eyes and finally realized it was not who he assumed but it was someone unexpected, he knocked frantically on the window causing the two to stop exchanging saliva, the lady turned to see who it was that had disturbed her session and was even more shocked, filled with terror that she began to tremble. Susan quickly got out of the car trying to calm herself down, She pushed down her dress to make it longer, staring into Chris's eye to eye. She was still in shock and trying to get a hold of herself in this situation. She was wearing a quite revealing dress exposing her gigantic boobs, the dress was fitted revealing her nice shape and flawless skin. "What are you doing here?" She questioned like shhadn't't done anything bad a few seconds ago, She tidied up her hair which was now loose, and stared away from him "That's not your husband," Chris informed her like she didn't already know, if this was what his wife's friend was doing behind her husband's back then his wife
"Tell me about the dancing at the party." Chris inquired but she hesitated for a moment to recollect memories of that day as she wriggled her fingers slowly looking up at him. He glared down at her trying to contain himself but the frustration he felt was beyond what he could imagine, he still couldn't bring himself to believe all this was happening no matter how many times the truth was glaring at him in the face, he believed his dear wife would blnever think of doing that to him. "It wasn't a normal party." She looked up quite terrified wondering if it was okay to say it or not but she had no choice than to do so. "It was a performance arranged by our manager for us to dance in front of rich men." Susan dropped her gaze to the floor trying to hold back the embarrassment and guilt she felt. Chris was horrified by the thought of his wife doing such a thing, was it because of money, if so he had more than enough, was it because she was loosing interest in him? That didn't seem to be th
"Yes it was indeed tight but I don't think it could leave bruises on her skin because she wasn't the hostage," Susan explained and Chris was a bit confused wondering how she would have gotten the bruises if she hadn't played hostage. How dubious is she? Is this the fragile woman he had been with for five years? Could it be that she had gotten the bruises before the game so she could use it as an alibi? Chris thought to himself. If that is so then where had she gone to and how did she get so badly bruised that her colleagues didn't know about it when she was to play hostage or could the person who had tied her hand know about it and shrug it off? Chris' head kept ringing with a lot of unanswered questions. He was running out of patience wanting to know the truth about everything at go but it didn't seem like it would happen that way. "Were your rooms together back at the hotel?" Chris asked Susan who was silent for a few seconds, she nodded her head negatively trying to recall who ha
