CHAPTER 22 (AN AUSPICIOUS DAY)

The sun rose again indicating day break, a day where few humans would wake up and fewer will see the next sunrise. The contrasting beauty of the sun over the horizon and the Hunan's hostile nature made one wonder the splendor of the being who created all things. The blanket covered his knees and in his hand was a glass of white wine- a prelude to the breakfast he had already ordered.

“Awe-inspiring, my ancestors had outdone themselves.” He said, gazing out of the window. The door bell rang, he came down and opened the door, it was James. He was quite anything Davin wanted him to be, a driver when he needed a ride, a delivery man when he needed food, a friend when he needed companionship. In all, James was a loyal and versatile servant.

“I got you all you need for the week, I'm thinking you sent the list because you don't want to step out.” James said, dropping the items one by one.
