CHAPTER 23 (EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER)

Derek arrived thirty minutes after theMr. Robb's call. He drove like he was in a competition and needed to hit the first position, he parked his car and hopped out hastily. He knew he needed to have a good reason for coming late, one that would pacify them. He was thinking while on his way, but he's was actually blank, no lies to tell.

He opened the conference room door and entered. He put his hands together like he was about to pray and pleaded.

“My board of governors I know I'm late, I apologize for the inconveniences, I had a flat tyre. Now that we're all here, let's get to business of the day.”

“We accept your apology. Let start what we came here for.” Mr. Robb said, observing everyone as they nodded in unison.

“I was told you received text messages from a certain number posing as Beta Group and the messages said I'm no longer the owner. Is this correct?”
