CHAPTER 58 (SHE FULFILLED HER PURPOSE)

The office air smelt nice, his secretary must have got a different air freshener but that wasn't his concern right now. He needed to find the catalog of assets so that he knew his standing. He increased the level of the air conditioner before sinking into his executive chair. He drew the first drawer out and started searching, shortly after he heard a knock. Then the door slid open a bit, then fully. It was his secretary.

“Come in, come in.”

“Sorry sir, I saw your car outside, I wasn't very sure it would actually be you.”

“So you want to question me on why I'm in my office this early?”

“No sir, it's just unusual not wrong.”

“I am searching for the file containing all our investment here and abroad infact.”

“I can help with that sir.”

“Also I need the inventory on all our assets.”

“Sorry to ask sir, but why is it so important.”

“I don't pay to ask questions, I pay you to meet my demands.

“
