Chapter 11

Derek's face reddened with rage, his voice rising in disbelief. "All of them! The entire company is refusing to work with me!"

Peter's eyes widened in shock, "Sir, I think there must be some mistake," he ventured, trying to placate him. But Derek just stared, his anger boiling over.

"I'm dead, I'm dead," he muttered to himself, his frustration and desperation palpable.

Peter stood frozen, unsure how to respond, fearing anything he said would only fuel Derek's ire. Despite the cool weather, Derek began to sweat.

Derek's face contorted in a mixture of anger and desperation as he dialed the J.K company, his hopes hanging by a thread. The call connected, and he launched into a passionate plea, "You can reconsider our proposal, it will greatly benefit your company!"

But the response was curt and unyielding, "Sorry, we don't need this offer, thank you."

Derek's voice took on a hint of desperation, "Okay, take 70%, let me take 30%."
