Mysterious Son-in-law’s Revenge

Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Eight.

It was 7:30pm and Declan King was ready to set out for the operation. He wore a black pants and black leather jackets. He stood before a mirror to readjust his face cap. Looking at his reflection, he looked like nothing short of a hit man.

His phone began to ring on bedstand and the caller was Mandy.

"Not now Mandy." He said and declined the call. He restricted Mandy from reaching for that period of time. He had a busy night ahead of him and the last thing he needed was distraction of any kind.

He however called Mike instead.

"Ready?" Declan asked with a stern voice.

"I'm already driving to the venue, see you in 30." Mike said, his voice not missing a glint of excitement that is always in it.

Looking at his reflection one last time in the mirror, Declan took his keys and left.

Half way into the journey, Declan noticed two vans trailing him.

"Who are those now" He wondered in his head. One of the vans sped up and zoomed past him, stopping abruptly almost bumping into Declan's car.
