Mandy's grip tightened on the steering wheel, her aura emitting a burning rage. She turned sharply to the other lane, a rather reckless move for someone who didn't plan to kill herself. Driving herself that day was definitely a terrible idea.

Bench's words replayed in her head multiple times and she knew it would stick with her for long.

Everything Bench said was to torment her and kudos to him for a job well delivered. Not only that all he said was tormenting, it pissed her off that he was right.

How could she be so stupid? Did she think she could hide the truth from Declan forever?

She slammed her hand on the steering, honking the horn angrily, prompted stares from people on the street.

Increasing the gear, Mandy zoomed off at enormous speed.

At the Chief warden's office, the Chief Warden sat before his tray of launch. He was munching on the pork when his phone rang.
