"This is Dave blade and I called to demand for the immediate release of Declan King. "

The Chief Warden's eyes flashed in shock and darted to Declan.

What was going on? He asked himself inwardly.

"Sir... Uhm. His release won't be possible till the investigation is over."

The chief warden blurted before he could stop himself.

"What did you just say?"

Dave Blade's voice asked sharply.

"I—uhm..."

The Chief Warden stuttered. He can't believe he said that to Mr. Blade.

Dave Blade was a renowned elite in the city. He had just recently taken over the position of the foreign affairs unit as their minister.

Dave Blade had contacts with every reputable foreigner interested in their city. He was no small name and is held in very high esteem.

"Do as you're told, Chief Warden, do not provoke me." Dave Blade warned with a low tone and ended the call.

The Chief Warden stood stunned for a moment. What was really happening? First it was Mandy Asher, the top class business boss-lady, and now i
