Chapter One Hundred and Nine.
"OMG" Mandy gasped, grabbing her chest. "They can't die Declan. You can't let them die, "she said, fearfully.

Mandy didn't realize the weight of the matter till that moment. She was not on good terms with May and her mother, but the thought of something happening to them broke her heart.

"There's nothing much we can do at this point. They still have time, we just have to act fast."

Declan switched to the other lane fiercely, pouring his frustration to the road.

Mandy glanced at him and his countenance broke her heart. A thought crossed her mind and she looked away, not sure of what she was about to say next.

"What about the herb?"

Mandy asked in a low tone, looking out through the window.

"What herb?"

"The one we purchased at the auction. It can do quite a lot based on my research."

Declan's grip tightened on the steering "No Mandy, not the herb."

"But why not?"

Declan glanced at her. Maybe she had gone insane without him knowing.
