Chapter Seventy-Seven.

“Get down!”

Jason growled same time the bullet shattered the glass beside their table.

May looked at Declan terrified as he pinned her to the floor.

Screams blasted from the restaurant as Declan stood up tracing the trajectory of the bullet to the source. He could see a masked man in black dismantling a sniper.

“Stay here. I will be back.” Declan said, grabbing his keys and rushed out of the restaurant. He walked outside and looked towards the fence where the sighted the man and a figure ran out of the building with a large case in hand.

Declan took off to his car and climbed, instantly driving towards the man who was already boarding a bike. The man raised his face and saw Declan coming after him. He started his bike and zoomed off with Declan after him in a hot pursuit.

May ran out of the restaurant to seeing Declan driveoff. She pulled out her phone with shaky hands and dialed his number.

“I said I will be back for you. Something came up.” Declan said with urgency in his
