Chapter Two Hundred and Fifteen

Mandy slumped into the couch in her living room. She was so devastated and found it difficult to contain her emotions. She heard footsteps approaching and she quickly sprang up on her feet.

Her grandpa and Josh entered and they were about to walk out through the front door.

"Where are you going grandpa?"

"To show him around. He will take over the project going forward."

Grandpa Asher said and Mandy's face paled.

"What project do you mean?"

She asked shakily and grandpa Asher glanced at her with side eyes.

"The one you have ongoing. You're off it till further notice."

"No way."

Mandy, gasped. It was as though something gonged in her head and for a moment, she felt light headed.

"You can't—do that. I mean, that is my project. If you really want the Williams off it, then that's fine by me."

Mandy said, moving to stand in front of her grandfather.

"This has nothing to do with the Williams anymore. Consider it your punishment for bringing in a riffraff into my home to insult m
