Mandy looked at the old man in front of her with widened eyes.

“What's with the look? If we denounce him in front of the public, it might as well remove every form of suspicion from our family.” Asher said with a shrug.

“And I am guessing that you would want me to make the announcement?”

“Well, you are the one that he is mostly seen with… who else to take the shot?”

Grandpa Asher fired back and Mandy nodded with a grim look on her face.

“If you will excuse me grandpa, I think I need some time alone.” Mandy said walking out of the living room.

Declan sat in his car, leaning against the chair. A shrill ringing tone cut through the air and he grudgingly reached for his phone.

*Beep*

“Hello… you better have good news for me Tye.”

“And indeed I do. I found a potential lead to Kingston. There is a guy that promised information for the right sum and already agreed to meet him at a cafe with enough money to get him spilling.”

“And you are sure that the guy is a real deal?”
