"Tell me, what conditions do you want? You better hurry. I don't want to be seen here with you guys. What happens if they think I'm a police officer from a neutral side that seems to be siding with one of your factions? This will be bad for the reputation of the police force. If the four pillars of authority intervene, it could become a disaster in a Nameless District."
Malvinn had gone and sat on his motorbike. He will while wearing a helmet. It was Kay who was left who approached Inspector Robert and whispered something.
Inspector Robert sighed. "Yeah, whatever! Just take whatever you like. Most importantly, this job is done and doesn't cause any more problems." Inspector Robert walked away from Kay, waving his hand.
When the gray-haired man was in the police car, he slightly opened the glass window and said to Kay, "Don't forget to leave the victim's identity. So that we can identify them."
"Don't worry, Inspector Robert. It's a small thing to do."
"Are you sure you don't need these files to find them?" asked Inspector Robert.
Kay just smirked. He put his right index finger to his head and tapped it. "Don't worry, it's all recorded here. So what are you going to do with the body?"
"Just leave it there! Your job is just to kill them. The rest, let us do as usual. The rest of the payment will be transferred to your account, Liavin. Rage as you please! Because it's going to be a fun job for you guys after all this time, right?"
Inspector Robert grinned. The car sped away from the crossroads.
Kay was still staring at the police car as it left the empty street. Now, it was Kay who was grinning as he turned to Malvinn. He nodded in satisfaction. They were on their way to their next assignment.
In the police car driving away from the outskirts of the Nameless District, Michael suddenly asks Inspector Robert. "Are they—" Michael didn't finish and hung in the air.
"Did you just notice, Mike?" reprimanded Inspector Robert. "They are not ordinary handymen. Yeah, even though they call themselves the Rogue Brothers, they don't have blood ties."
Michael looked pale and a little scared.
"The man with the sword gave me the chills."
"Lundon?" Inspector Robert laughed as he lit his cigarette. "He always appears without making a sound. He doesn't talk much, either. Yes, he is indeed a little bit rude and is feared by the delinquents around here. But you have to be careful with his eyes. He has very sharp eyes and hearing. He can even read lip movements without needing to hear what sounds come from someone's mouth."
Michael couldn't believe it. "What about Liavin?"
"The gigolo? You've seen for yourself how capable he is." Inspector Robert pointed to the file Kay had returned to him. "He doesn't even need any of this. With just one look, all the information has been recorded in his long-term memory. He's a little bit scary, although his communication is excellent. Don't be fooled by their appearance, Mike!"
The night grew late, and the homeless people began to enter their tents on the side of the shabby road. Kay and Malvinn drove their motorbikes, overtaking each other like young men on an adrenaline rush. Every now and then, the burning smoke from the bonfires in the barrels blanketed the wet and dark streets.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
In one dark alley, a figure in a baseball cap sprinted at a fast and long stride. Her breath was ragged and panting. A few meters behind her were three men hunting with their weapons. Their faces were furious, and they looked ready to kill anyone who got in their way.
"Fuck!" grumbled the figure in the baseball cap whose jacket contained a thick wallet full of cash. "Why are they still after me? Even though I've run very far. I will not hand over this money!"
The three men on the hunt begin to lose track of the girl in the baseball cap. They stood in front of a row of closed shops without lights.
Brack!
One of the men smacked a stick against the closed rolling door of the shop until his voice echoed down the deserted street.
"Bastard! Where did the boy go? He had been causing trouble here too many times. I didn't think I would be the victim of his pickpocketing."
His two comrades also looked exhausted and carried daggers in hand, slightly panted while grinning. "Aren't you the stupid one? You were picked up by a kid."
"You bastard! The boy's hand was swift. I didn't even notice when he took my wallet and Rolex watch. If I hadn't checked the time, I probably wouldn't have known if he had picked me up."
"Well, that newcomer boy is famous as the God Hand around here. He always chooses his victims. He always targets men and women who just come out of the casino with huge sums of money and jewelry."
"Don't talk too much; find him quickly!" the man shouted.
Malvinn was standing on one of the roofs of a two-story building. He looked down at the wet and dark street below. Only the lights from several bars that were still open were the only lighting. Malvinn gripped the katana sword in his left hand while kneeling on one leg. A pair of eyes are now in the direction of a building.
Malvinn watched a building guarded by two men at its front door. The building Malvinn knew was a former hospital that had long been empty and abandoned.
Malvinn tilted his head. "You guys are nesting here, apparently?" said Malvinn without taking his eyes off the two doormen.
Three men came with suitcases and stopped in front of two guards.
Malvinn, standing on the roof of the opposite building, read the lips of three men who had just arrived with suitcases. Not long after, Henry Cruise appeared inside the building with his two bodyguards.
"So they're going to make deals here?"
Henry handed over his suitcase and exchanged it for the three men who had just arrived. Malvinn was sure that the briefcase Henry had received contained some money.
With the building's porch light, Malvinn could see their lips moving and know what they were talking about.
"You can sell it in 3rd District," said Hendri. "There, it is more profitable because the people there have more money than in this black district."
One of Henry's bodyguards rebuked him. "Are you sure you recommend them to sell it in 3rd District? Are you ready to take the risk? 3rd District is controlled by the Marco family."
"Are you so stupid? That's precisely why we have to start from 3rd District. If Marco's family falls, the Ramones will also follow. If they had all fallen, only Pablo's family would be left. Because we've already uprooted the Frey family. If the Four Pillars have fallen, we will rule the four districts and become kings here. Ha ha!"
Henry's men laughed too.
Henry checked the contents of the briefcase he had just exchanged and counted their agreed amount. Satisfied, Henry's three guests asked to resign.
The girl in the baseball cap is still trying to escape with the purse she managed to get hold of. She tries to return to the building where Henry and his men live. She was about to reach the building from one of the alleys. Someone came out and blocked her steps. The girl fell down and rolled onto the wet asphalt road.
On the other hand, suddenly, a second man appeared with a bat in hand. He was ready to slam the stick into the head of the girl who had stolen his purse.
The girl was lying on the asphalt. She was caught off guard when a dagger flew towards her neck from the side.
The girl glanced over with a pair of eyes opened wide and panicked. She protected her face with her arms, but…
Kay kicked the arm of the man who was trying to stab the girl in the baseball cap with a dagger. The dagger bounced, and the man screamed in pain. He was furious and wanted to retaliate. However, the man backed away in fear when he saw Kay Liavin standing there. His other two comrades hid in a dark alley to trip the girl, and the other waited not far away; they all backed away in fear as soon as they realized Kay was coming."Just watch; one day, I will definitely repay you!" shouted the man whose leg Kay kicked. They just ran wild and left their guns on the road."Today, we often pass each other," said Kay casually. "Usually, I just sneak glances through the window in my office."Kay bent down and reached out to the girl sprawled out on the wet street. "Are you okay?"The girl slapped Kay's hand roughly. She chose to stand alone even though with difficulty. "What do you want? You also want to snatch my bounty this time?""Even though we've been neighbors for several months, this is t
Malvinn immediately dodged to the side. His ears could hear the direction of the bullet very clearly. He stood stiffly at the side and didn't move at all. Malvinn looked disappointed and surprised because his target was actually shot by someone who had just come from behind him. The muzzle of the gun was now right next to Malvinn's ear.Malvinn turned and realized Kay was already standing there. With his two pistols, he shoots Henry's men and leaves Henry for the last part."Malvin! You're always like that!" Kay protested. "You're having fun with them alone and ignoring me? I told you to wait until I came. I've only been on business for a while, and you've got them all with your sword?"Malvinn just smirked and pulled away. He took a handkerchief from his back trouser pocket and wiped the bloody blade of his sword. As he took a cloth, a portrait fell from Malvinn's trouser pocket.Malvin chuckled back. "Didn't you have fun with the girl?""Hah?" Kay surprise. "Weren't you the one who
The girl in the baseball cap pointed the gun with trembling hands at Kay standing. The girl suddenly twisted her hand when Malvinn was about to slash his sword. She fired several bullets at Henry's lifeless body."Bastard! I've almost given up on staying there." She fired two more rounds from the gun in her hand. The gun was so strong that it made the girl's tiny body shake slightly, and she took a step back. When she had finished firing all the bullets, the girl ducked and dropped Kay's gun.Kay and Malvinn just stared at the girl expressionlessly. The girl started crying and covered her swollen face with her arms. She ran out of the alley.Malvinn tried to chase after the girl, but Kay held him back and shook his head."We'd better get her sorted, or there's going to be a lot of trouble later on," said Malvinn."Tch," Kay chuckled. "You changed your mind so quickly? You stay here. Let me take care of it."Kay walked in the direction the girl disappeared. He picked up his empty gun a
Kay opened the door with his left hand. His right hand held the gun tightly, ready to be fired.Someone was standing at their apartment door. Kay's eyes opened wide, and he frowned in confusion. Malvinn was ready to swing his sword, but Kay motioned for him to stop."Who?" asked Malvinn.Malvinn removed Kay from the doorway and opened the door wide. He was stunned to see a figure standing there."I thought you were out of here," Kay said casually as he reloaded his gun. "Come in! Is there anything you need from us? You can't come here empty-handed. We only accept jobs that pay properly."A petite girl who looked to be in her late teens stood in shabby clothes, and her long hair tucked behind a baseball cap. Her face was still full of bruises. That girl was the same girl the Rogue brothers had met in the underground parking lot."I have paid your down payment of 5 million Coll," said the girl shyly and a little scared."What?" Kay was surprised. "What did you say?"Malvinn, on the othe

Lindy recoiled in fright as she raised her hands. "No, that's not what I meant. I think it's just a misunderstanding."Malvinn looked at her coldly and left the office without another word. Malvinn closed the door tightly.Lindy was still standing on the other side of the door, clutching her pounding chest. "Jeez, he's so scary."The girl had turned and was about to return to her desk, but someone knocked on the door. Lindy froze and turned around quickly. She headed to the door and opened it nervously."Malvinn… did you forget something?" she asked. Then she gaped."It's me, not Malvinn!""Kay? How soon are you back? Why are you knocking on your own door?""To make sure there are no intruders here." Kay immediately pushed Lindy away from the door as he drew his revolver."What is it?""Tell me, who are you exactly?"Click! Kay pulled the trigger."And what is your purpose in coming here?"Kay pointed the gun squarely at Lindy's chin. The girl had to look up in fright."W-what do you
Ring. Ring. Ring. The phone keeps ringing from the third floor of one of the old buildings. A man in a black shirt with sleeves rolled up to his elbows was standing by the window. There was a katana sword in his hand. He ignored the ringing phone on the table and was more interested in the wet street below. "Malvinn, you're ignoring phone calls again?" complained Kay Liavin, who had just emerged from the bathroom. The towel was wrapped around the man's waist, and his shoulder-length red hair was still wet. "What are you watching?" "The new residents in the building next door just beat up a girl in the alley. Now he's travelling in his new Bentley with two bodyguards. Should I finish him off?" asked Malvinn without taking his eyes off the dark, deserted alley below. "Stay there, and don't interfere!" Kay hissed, lifting the receiver to his ear. "The Rogue Brothers here. Can I help you?" said Kay in his flamboyant voice over the line. "Kay Liavin, 27 years old, ex-Scard soldier le
"Hey, Boy!" said Kay. "I've never seen you before here. Are you new to this district? My advice, you'd better hand over the backpack, and we'll let you go free." The baseball-cap figure shifted slightly in place; his hands gripped the backpack straps tightly and slung them over his shoulders. Malvinn, standing behind the baseball cap figure, took a step forward while dragging his sword across the floor. The sound of blades scraping was very piercing to the ears of the baseball-caped man. "Don't get in my way!" shouted the baseball cap figure, ducking deeper to hide his face. His breath sounded rough. "This stuff is mine. I got it first." Kay grinned as he tilted his head to the right. "What did you say? Your voice is as small as a girl's. I can't hear it." Click! Kay pulled the trigger and pointed it at the boy in the baseball cap. "You better put down the backpack and get out of here. As long as I'm still kind to you." Kay was ready to shoot the gun at the young man, but from b
